Scrambled. When taking fatal damage for the first time, yolkie enters the "Scrambled" state. Instead of reaching 0 HP, yolkie is instead reduced to 1 HP. Until yolkies next turn, the following happens:
- It's Armour class is increased to 18
- Yolkie doesn't talk any damage, but rather gains 1/4 off the damage dealt as healing. If the damage received is a damage type that yolkie is immune to, then they heal for 1/2 the damage dealt instead of 1/4. If the damage received is a damage type yolkie is vulnerable to, then they receive no healing.
- If yolkie is healed to full whilst in the scrambled state before it's next turn, it is removed from the scrambled state.
Split the Yolk. When taking a melee attack, roll a d20, on a 15 or higher, Split the yolk activates. Yolkie splits in 2, dividing it's hitpoints equally between the yolklings. Each yolklings stats and attacks are halved until the 2 unite. The two yolklings start 30 ft apart and must use their movement to get closer to each other. If one of the yolklings dies, the one left alive remains a yolkling until your next long rest and is capped at half of yolkies maximum HP. When the yolklings are united, yolkie is formed, and the yolklings HP is added together and becomes Yolkies HP.
Slimy. Yolkie is made up of slime, and as a result, can squeeze into gaps as small as 1 inch, Additionally, this make sit hard to hold, and has advantage on saving throughs against being restrained and grappled.
Yolk Throw. Ranged Attack: +5 to hit, reach 25 ft., one creature. Hit: 12 (3d8) acid damage.
Tackle. Melee Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 5 (2d6) bludgeoning damage.
Description
A small slime that resembles an egg. Though small and unable to talk, they make great companions.
