Description
In the forests where the expanse of trees blot out the sunlight, a terrifying force of nature resides. Its deep black trunk and many long, tenacious, barbed tendrils await in the shadows for prey. It'll toy with its prey wearing down their psyche before grasping them and dragging them into the shadows. Its crushing force will cause its poisonous barbs to puncture skin draining blood and sapping strength. Its tendrils will glow as it feeds on the body of its prey. When nothing but a shell remains it will bury the corpse making sure nothing can tip future prey off to its presence.
