Oracle’s Curse. Any creature that touches Python or starts its turn grappling it must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or suffer visions of doom, taking (3d8) psychic damage and becoming frightened for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.

Magic Resistance. Python has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Multiattack. Python makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its constrict.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 6) piercing damage plus (2d6) poison damage.

Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 20 ft., one creature. Hit: 27 (4d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 18). Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained, and the snake can't constrict another target.

Petrifying Gaze (Recharge 5-6)

Python fixes its gaze on a creature it can see within 30 feet. The target must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target becomes restrained while Python maintains its gaze.

The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. If it fails three times, it becomes petrified for 1 minute. If it succeeds, the condition ends, and the target becomes immune to this ability for the next 24 hours.

Shed Skin (Bonus Action, 1/Day)

Python sheds its old skin, renewing itself. It regains 30 hit points and removes one negative condition affecting it (such as paralyzed, slowed, poisoned, or stunned).

When Python uses this ability, it leaves behind a fragment of its shed skin, which crumbles into golden dust after 1 minute.

Python can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Python regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Tail Swipe. Python makes a tail attack: +10, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (3d8) bludgeoning damage, and the target must make a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Oracle’s Whispers. Python whispers prophecies into the mind of a creature within 30 feet. The target must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of its next turn.
