Description
The Embodiment of Rage
Avatars of Fury are elementals created when large groups experience intense feelings of hate and rage. They are often spawned in the wake of great battles, sometimes taking centuries to manifest on the battlefield, long after the war has ended. Many end up as enforcers for gods or infernal creatures with more fury than forgiveness.
Once an Avatar of Fury has chosen a target or entered a battle, they do not stop until they have fallen or their enemy has perished. Even enemies that flee from confrontation are not safe as the avatar will continue to hunt their quarry until their mission is accomplished. As a result, few who have seen the creature have lived to tell the tale, making information on them scarce and often inaccurate.
