Traits

Diamond Rage. When the kraken is below 70 hit points, diamonds sprout all over the it. The kraken then gets a +2 bonus to AC and a +1 bonus to attack rolls. Its attacks are considered magical, and it also deals an extra 1d8 piercing damage on a hit.

Actions

Multiattack. The elemental makes two tentacle slam attacks.

Tentacle Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 7 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (4d6) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 10 dexterity saving throw or be stunned.

Stone Choke. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 7 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d12) bludgeoning damage. The target must also succeed on a DC 16 dexterity saving throw or be grappled, suffocated, and restrained. The escape DC is 18.

Description

A young earth kraken swims through the earth, waiting for the chance to surprise its meal. It thinks hunting is a game and enjoys toying with it before eating it. Its hard, rocky skin makes it hard to damage and it's surprisingly fast and agile. And even if you manage to badly damage it, diamonds will start sprouting all over it, making it stronger. Even though it is young, it still poses a threat to livestock and ordinary people.
