Traits

Wilted. Ylveta is a high-elf deep into her Wilting, her skin is papery and translucent, making her vulnerable to all damage except psychic.

Invulnerable Barrier. Ylveta exists inside a bubble, literally. Surrounding her is a lightly glowing iridescent bubble that prevents her from taking any damage. The bubble has an AC of 15 and 500 hit points and a damage threshold of 15. It can be dismissed by the wearer of its command necklace, which is currently Ylveta. Only non-harmful effects can pass through the bubble.

Spellcasting. Ylveta is a 10th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). Ylveta has the following Wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): Chill Touch, Sapping Sting, Toll the Dead, Mind Sliver
1st level (4 slots): Cause Fear, Magnify Gravity, Ray of Sickness, Witch Bolt

2nd level (3 slots): Scorching Ray, Blindness/Deafness, Wither and Bloom, Vortex Warp

3rd level (3 slots): Counterspell, Spirit Shroud, Vampiric Touch, Animate Dead, Lightning Bolt

4th level (3 slots): Ice Storm, Blight, Phantasmal Killer, Gravity Sinkhole

5th level (2 slots): Enervation, Negative Energy Flood, Cloudkill

Actions

Abomination. Ylveta can animate the Abomination.

Bonus Actions

Mirror Swap. Ylveta can send her physical form between her mirrors.

Description

Ylveta is a once beautiful elf, now deep in The Wilting, she desires immortality above all and is willing to do whatever she can to achieve it.

Lair and Lair Actions

A dank and damp underwater laboratory, full of maze-like rough-hewn hallways branching off in myriad directions. The main chamber lies at the heart of the maze and is full of glowing glass coffins and an array of desks and lab equipment. Hung from the ceiling and attached to the walls are dozens of mirrors. At the center of the room is a massive pit, that seems to be empty from a distance.

Lair Actions

On initiative count 15 (losing initiative ties), Ylveta takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; Ylveta can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

  • Annihilation- Ylveta can engage the Annihilation protocol, which results in the complete destruction of the laboratory through opening the ceiling and letting the lake rush in. Once engaged, this protocol cannot be undone and takes 4 rounds to completely submerge the lair.
  • Raise- Ylveta can cause one of the glass coffins to burst, releasing the half-undead, half-plasmoid experiment within. Use Zombie stats for this creature.
  • Burst- Ylveta can cause one of the pipes built into the walls to burst, releasing an acidic goo that deals 1d4 acid damage to anyone within 30 ft.

If Ylveta dies, these effects fade over the course of 1d4 days.
