Yolkfire Explosion (Recharge 5–6). When reduced to 0 HP, or on activation, the Yolkfire Elemental can explode in a 10-foot radius. Each creature must make a DC 14 DEX save, taking 3d6 fire + 1d6 radiant on a failed save, or half as much on a success. The area becomes sticky—treat as difficult terrain for 1 minute.
Sticky Slam. On hit, the target’s movement is halved until the end of their next turn. A DC 13 STR check can shake it off early.
Scalding Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d6 fire + 1d4 radiant damage.
Yolk Bounce (1/day). Teleport to any visible surface within 60 feet in a burst of sizzling energy. Enemies within 5 ft of the landing point take 2d6 radiant damage and must succeed on a DC 12 DEX save or fall prone.

Its form shifts between a glowing sun-like sphere and a gooey egg threatening to burst.
Summoned as part of the kitchen’s arcane trial, this creature tests both the reflexes and restraint of would-be bakers. It's not malicious—merely excitable, unstable, and ready to combust at the slightest provocation. The Elemental leaves behind scorch marks and the scent of burnt custard wherever it moves, crackling with anticipation until it finds the perfect moment to explode in a burst of radiant yolkflame.
Though dangerous, defeating or catching one is seen as a rite of passage in the enchanted culinary world.
