Devil’s Sight: Magical darkness doesn’t impede the yuan-ti’s darkvision.
Magic Resistance: The yuan-ti has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Eugenic Enhancement: The yaun-ti gain Enhance Ability Spell once per long rest.
Sseth’s Blessing: When the yuan-ti reduces an enemy to 0 hit points, the yuan-ti gains 9 temporary hit points.
Multiattack: The yuan-ti makes two Bite attacks and one Scimitar attack, or it makes two Spectral Fangs attacks.
Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) poison damage.
Scimitar (Yuan-ti Form Only): Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.
Spectral Fangs: Ranged Spell Attack: +5 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d8 + 3) psychic damage.
Spellcasting (Yuan-ti Form Only): The yuan-ti casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Charisma as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 13):
At will: animal friendship (snakes only), message, minor illusion, prestidigitation
1/day each: Enhance Ability (yaun-ti form only)
2/day each: detect thoughts, hypnotic pattern
3/day: suggestion
Change Shape. The yuan-ti transforms into a Medium snake or back into its true form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. If it dies, it stays in its current form.
Description
Eugenic Warriors are eugenically-enhanced and psychically-enslaved yuan-ti malison specifically bred by mind flayers with psychic abilities which the Eugenic Warriors believe come from the yaun-ti god Sseth, the Sibilant Death. However, their Warlock powers come from an Elder Brain instead and they use their abilities in the Elder Brain's service by spying on the mind flayers who also serve the Elder Brain or spying on neighboring citys, towns or communities in the underdark, on the surface world or on the astral plane of the Spelljammer Universe.
Eugenic Warriors are coniving, elusive, manipulative, unpredictable, and willing to cheat or kill comrades and rivals alike if doing so benefits them.
Worshipers of Sseth, they are eugenically bred by mind flayers and serve an Elder Brain and often ply the middle ground between two rival mind flayers or mind flayer factions.
Eugenic Warriors are loyal only to the Elder Brain or themselves and prone to flee at the first sign of trouble.
