Description

"It is forbidden to eat the flesh of men." — Second Law of Euz

There are some who carry a terrible, violent potential in them. When, through whatever twisted circumstance, they taste the flesh of their fellow kin, change comes upon their bodies. They are gifted obscene strength, speed and resilience, and in time, powers that make cruel mimicry of even the mightiest mage.

With these gifts comes a price. More potent than the most seductive sedative, the appetite takes hold at the first bite and quickly makes itself a permanent companion. They need the flesh now to sustain them.

Young Eaters crawl the alleys and villages as they adapt to their ravenous new cravings. They kill impulsively, without grace or preparation. Even unarmed, and with their higher powers still obscured, they easily tear through heavily armed guards.

Not all Eaters choose their grisly path. Cults and tyrants often abduct and forcibly feed those who carry the potential, hoping to leverage the Eater's strength in their ranks.
