Dark Devotion. Zavez has advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Zavez fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Spellcasting. The bard is a 4th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following bard spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): friends, mage hand, vicious mockery

1st level (5 slots): charm person, healing word, heroism, sleep, thunderwave

2nd level (4 slots): darknesshellish rebuke, invisibility, shatter

3rd level (3 slots): fearshatter, hypnotic patternslow

Song of Rest. The bard can perform a song while taking a short rest. Any ally who hears the song regains an extra 1d6 hit points if it spends any Hit Dice to regain hit points at the end of that rest. The bard can confer this benefit on itself as well.

Taunt (2/Day). The bard can use a bonus action on its turn to target one creature within 30 feet of it. If the target can hear the bard, the target must succeed on a DC 12 Charisma saving throw or have disadvantage on ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws until the start of the bard’s next turn.

Countercharm (2/day). Zavez can use the ability to use musical notes or words of power to disrupt mind-influencing effects. As an action, you can start a performance that lasts until the end of your next turn. During that time, you and any friendly creatures within 30 feet of you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed. A creature must be able to hear you to gain this benefit. The performance ends early if you are incapacitated or silenced or if you voluntarily end it (no action required).

Legendary Action Uses: 3. Immediately after another creature's turn , Zavez can expend a use to take one of the following actions. Zavez regains all expended uses at the start of each its turns.

Move. Zavez moves up to its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Frightful Presence. Zavez uses Spellcasting to cast Fear. Zavez can’t take this action again until the start of its next turn.

Cult Leader. Zavez can give a d10 inspiration to an ally he can see.

Description

Ring of Mind Shielding

While wearing this ring, you are immune to magic that allows other creatures to read your thoughts, determine whether you are lying, know your alignment, or know your creature type. Creatures can telepathically communicate with you only if you allow it.

You can use an action to cause the ring to become invisible until you use another action to make it visible, until you remove the ring, or until you die.

If you die while wearing the ring, your soul enters it, unless it already houses a soul. You can remain in the ring or depart for the afterlife. As long as your soul is in the ring, you can telepathically communicate with any creature wearing it. A wearer can't prevent this telepathic communication

Vicious Shortsword

When you roll a 20 on your attack roll with this magic weapon, the target takes an extra 7 damage of the weapon’s type.
