Description

Sometimes called a "rorawesh", these strange beasts have the body, legs, and head of a large horse. Along with an armored snout and forehead, canines and bird feet instead of hooves. It's forefeet are much akin to a cassowary's, while it's hind feet are more like those of a vulture.

These strange beasts can be seen browsing in or running through the boughs of trees. The natural armor on their snouts and their thick hides protect them from being injured by most branches. They're known to not only eat the leaves of the trees, but also some of they're smaller inhabitants such as birds, and squirrels. They're habit of eating bird eggs has become a problem in some regions.

Naturally a bit on the skittish side, but they will fight to defend themselves if cornered.

Zagobe are the result of failed attempts to create counterfeit pegasi. Wizard hangovers are a beast all their own.
