Keen Smell. The troll has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Regeneration. The troll regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn. If the troll takes acid or fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of the troll's next turn. The troll dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn't regenerate.

Spellcasting. Zee is a 12th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). Zee has the following wizard spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): fire bolt, frostbite, ray of frost, prestidigitation, toll the dead

Description

Zee is a troll who found a dead wizard with all of his gear and spell books intact. Zee put on the Headband of Intellect, and then learned from the books how to be a wizard. He found a broken bridge, and now demands a toll from any who want to cross. He has two Galder's Towers, one on each side of the river, that are linked with a permanent, but smaller, Arcane Gate type portal from the upper floors of both towers. The western tower has a dining space on the first floor, and a study on the second. The eastern tower has a lounge type guest area on the first floor, and the second floor is a type of magical laboratory with a teleportation circle and a summoning circle, both are surrounded by Magic Circles. His usual toll is a gold piece per person or medium/large animal. He will accept pay in the form of livestock, however. He seems to prefer this in fact.
