Yangun Salinger.

Have reached a point in life where they seek death. Emotional trauma, rage, disappointment are just some of the potential reasons for reaching the stage where they become Salinger.

Once the "Salinger Oath" has been taken the body is ritually covered in runes and wards which increase his strength, resilience and speed but greatly reduce lifeforce. Once tattooed with these runes a Salinger will usually live less than a few years before the wards turn their bodies to a hollowed husk.
