D&D Beyond is excited to announce the release of the all-new, consolidated D&D Beyond App! Gone are the days of two separate apps: we’ve combined the power of the D&D Beyond toolset with new mobile features to make your Dungeons & Dragons 5th-edition games more accessible and more fun. The app is available to download for free on iOS and Android.
The toolset makes it easier to reference D&D content, with features ranging from a guided character creation, dynamic character sheets and spell management, plus the ability to search and bookmark books in your library. The app is the perfect mobile solution for every D&D player — whether you’re a new player, a veteran campaigner, or legendary Dungeon Master.
Play with Advantage
Mobile character creation is easier with the character builder tool walking you through every step of the character creation process. You’ll never have to enter a game without your character sheet again — access your characters online or offline and be ready for skill checks, attack rolls, saving throws, or whatever twists your DM throws at you. Manage your character's health, abilities, spells, and inventory.
Forgot your dice? Roll directly in the app with themed digital dice sets!
Dungeon Masters will enjoy the ability to easily access monster stat blocks and game rules in the D&D Beyond App. Bookmark your favorite monsters or frequently used rules, search spells, and gaze longingly over your backlog of characters you'd love to play (some day, maybe...).
What if I already own the Player App or Reader App?
Adventurers who have the D&D Beyond Player App will simply need to update the app to access the new tools! If you are using the D&D Beyond Reader App, you'll need to migrate over to the new app.
I agree it’s often better to have two apps. Currently, I can maintain separate displays in each app, like referencing a book in the reader while using my character sheet in the player app. This works well with the ability to swipe back and forth between the two apps on my phone or having them side-by-side on my tablet.
Can't wait!!! This'll be extremely useful since the local game stores will open up Adventures League play in person in the coming months. Main thing keeping me from using the player app is the fact I can't edit the sheet directly. Very excited!
Please, add the option for DM’s on Campaigns to change or rename languages...
next we need you guys to set up online play so we can do it all on one website!!!!
When is the update coming out though? Also, just to be clear, its the Player app that will be updated into the new, complete, app? Not the reader app?
Awesome! Hopefully this also fixes the bug on iOS devices which crashes when you attempt to use bookmark folders or try to edit bookmark folders in any way!!! Looking forward to the consolidation into one app!

Talk about exciting!!
Any chance to get access to the Beta as a subscriber? I wouldn’t mind TestFlighting the new consolidated app!
Homebrew feature where tho?
Very hopeful and excited
This will be interesting, can't wait!!
I literally CANNNOT wait!!!
Well, the reader app on my phone has already stopped working (stuck on "updating source catalog", even aver a restart, when it was fine a few weeks ago) so I hope the consolidated app arrives soon...
When does the merge happen??

Wish youd drop a version on the amazon app store so I could run it on my kindle fire without having to literally hack it to get it from googleplay
Will it be on the amazon kindle
When this releases what will happen to all my bookmarks that I have on the reader app currently? Will there be a way of migrating those over? I have A LOT of bookmarks between multiple books and don’t want to lose them or have to remake them.
heck yes
