I have content sharing enabled for my campaigns but when I homebrew some items, my players can see them. I was told to take them out of my homebrew collection, which does solve that problem. However, if my items and monsters are not in my collection, I can not seem to find them in the encounter builder or items to equip my players with. I want to be able to create items for my players without them being able to look them up before I give it to them and to be able to use monsters in the encounters without them, again, being able to look them up and see their state blocks.
The only thing I have found that works is putting an item or monster in my collection then removing it after I have set up the encouter or given the item. I am figuring there is a something I am missing. Any help is appreciated!
You can have your characters disable homebrew on this character sheet. If that is impossible than it can't happen unfortunately. Perhaps it would be worth talking to them and asking them not to "snoop" whenever you make something.

Nope, that’s it. Anything in your collection is automatically shared with everyone in DDB campaigns with you. Anything you want to hide has to be removed from your collection.
It's so annoying that there's still no feature for this. As a DM, I should be able to add my homebrew monsters to my encounters without the players in my campaign being able to stumble upon them. This is a basic function and need for DMs.
