Hello, don't know if this has been brought up. I couldn't find a thread on it when I searched 'Expert Sidekick'. The stat block currently shows them to have Extra Attack and has swapped the level 11 Ability with 'Coordinated Strikes' that it would get at level 6.
The sidekick statblocks available in the extras menu are the sidekicks from Dragon of Ice Spire Peak and the follow up adventures in that series. After those were published, WOTC published different/update versions of sidekicks in Tasha’s. With the release of Tasha’s, the DDB team realized that continuing to use the kludge of creating monster statblocks for sidekicks (and several other companions) was unwieldy and that instead they needed an entirely new sidekick system. (In part also because Tasha sidekicks can be a wide range of creatures beyond standard races) They haven’t had time to get to that yet.
What I have done for a player that has a warrior sidekick who is a wolf. I made a homebrew copy of the wolf statblock and added the warrior features. I do have to update it after each level up, but it does work pretty well while I/we wait for a sidekick system.
Thank you, I didn't realize those sidekicks were from DoISP. I ended up following your same logic and process. We have dryad sidekicks on our ship so I made custom dryad statblocks with the features.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get the homebrew to show up for my character to add as a sidekick.
