I made a rogue/warlock mix, and I only have cantrips and 3rd level spell slots available, despite choosing some 1st and 2nd level spells. (5 levels of warlock.) Why is this?
Until you get to a high enough level to gain the Mystic Arcanum feature, you only get to use your spell slots at their highest level (3rd in this case). This is offset by getting your slots back on a short rest, but you have a few less to play with as a result.
I made a Goliath wizard, I can see the cantrips and use them accordingly but when I add the 1st level spell slots only 2 or 3 will show up and it's not letting me use level 1 slots at all. Does anyone know how to fix this
Spells Known are not the same as Spells Prepared, as a Wizard you have to prepare the spells after you add them to your spell book. Spells Prepared are not the same as spell slots. Spell Slots are what you spend to cast the spells you have prepared.

That's correct. Warlock magic works differently from other types of magic. See the Pact Magic section on the warlock page.

No worries, with 13 classes and who knows how many sub classes it's easy to miss stuff! =)

Post a link to your character sheet so someone can take a look.
