I am trying to homebrew a rogue subclass that should get the 1/3 pact magic feature that Blood Hunter Profane Souls get.
The feature exists. That much we know. However if I add it to the Rogue subclass it'll just give me the arcane trickester spellcasting table and progression. I was thinking they really hardcoded that 1/3 pact magic feature to the blood hunter so it only works for them, but if I multiclass into warlock all of a sudden the arcane trickster spellcasting table and progression is replaced by pact magic, but calculated for a multiclassed character ofcourse.
Is there something I can do to fix this from my end? Is it a bug? It sounds like something that could be easily available since it is there... In part ...

So it is hard coded, but adding one level of Warlock forced it to work?
I made a rogue subclass with pact magic. If I create a character that is 19 levels rogue and 1 level warlock I get the correct amount (2) level 4 pact slots and nothing else.
I suppose this is a bug then? One they best not remove if they can't circumvent this "hard coding"?

Yes, because Pact Magic is also hard coded to the Warlock.
