My character is a Goliath which does not come with darkvision by default; however, I have equipped and attuned to the Belt of Dwarvenkind. That should grant darkvision, while attuned of course, and when I open the Senses modal on my character, it is not displayed there that I have darkvision to 60ft. as with races who come with it.
Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
I checked but it is not there either. The Goliath race doesn't come with Darkvision, it is essentially a "new" trait that the Belt of Dwarvenkind is supposed to grant to the attuned wearer.
Hmmm... a good way to test this is to create a copy of the belt and see if the magic property of granting darkvision is in there. I'm not sure how much (aside from adjusting numbers) magic items currently modify a character sheet in DDB. I'm curious if Goggles of Night add it to the sheet.
And... they do. :D I'll throw a ticket in for this. There could be a reason behind it though, since the belt's properties are dependent on variables (such as if you're a dwarf or not).

Maybe its in your racial traits.
