I have created a Dragonborn subrace, as well as a goblin variant with subraces. last night after spending hours and hours, and multiple versions, it finally showed up in the race selection. Now when I go to choose them they are gone. This happened to me the other day as well, it was there, then 5 min later it was gone, then 5 min later it was back, then gone again. That is when I deleted them all the first time and started over. Then I thought that it might be that it was a character being built out by someone in my campaign, but when I try to build one for myself, same thing happened, it was just gone (not in campaign). Then after looking at the settings, not changing anything, it showed up again. Just now, my player went to go add it back in, and guess what... GONE AGAIN!
I understand that sometimes there are issues with the build that cause it to not be published, but I don't see anywhere that there is any issues with the build. I really wish that there was a way to run a checker and have it tell you what is wrong, where it is, and possible ways to fix it rather than it just not working and not giving feedback.
https://www.dndbeyond.com/races/418684-goblin-tyrileth - goblin with subraces that randomly disappear (yes i know that if it has a sub race, then the parent race will not show, and i am fine with that, but the subraces will randomly dissapear, and that i'm not fine with).
it would also be nice to have an option to turn off the parent race, or change it from a subrace to a full race, or something like that. For now i would settle for consistently being able to see my races in the character builder
There have been some weird things happening with homebrew of late. Hopefully the developers can track all this down and get it addressed. Thank you for posting the races in question, as that will probably be of help in their sleuthing.

You know how they just redid the character sheet? Next project is the creation system, which is the exact same system the homebrewer uses. But everyone’s homebrew is all twisted up in the same database. Apparently the biggest problem is untangling it all so it can all go into different databases. That’s what they are most likely working on that is probably causing all the current glitches.
The relative radio silence from the Mods is another clue. They did the same thing when the glitches from the character sheet framework reboot were happening too. Things were probably changing so fast and were so out of their hands that they probably had no answers. This feels like that, but backend stuff that we cannot troubleshoot as easily. I expect it’s gonna be like Christmas lights that blink when they’re not supposed to around here for a bit, and then things like clearing away the upcast spells will start landing like drop pods.

You've mentioned several times that the devs are now working on the homebrew system--but it's not on Adam's list of Work in Progress in the developer's updates. The things I've seen listed there mostly relate to capitalizing on what the character sheet changes lets them work on now, to the dice roller, and to the combat tracker. Where are you seeing that the homebrew system is under redevelopment at this time?

It’s all the same system. Either Sedge, MellieDM, or BadEye mentioned it in the forums at some point. Apparently, the biggest challenge is getting everyone’s homebrews safely separated from everything else.
