I'm not really shure if this has been discussed in another forum/thread, but I couldn't find it.
With the new feature to see Advantage/Disadvantage applying to certain ability checks or saving throws, shouldn't this be also displayed if I select a certain condition for one of my characters?
For example, if I choose the exhaustion condition at 1st level, there should be displayed that all ability checks are made with disadvantage. But this doesn't work for any condition so far.
Is this a bug or a missing feature that will be added in the future?
It’s a missing feature. Right now the character sheet doesn’t support any kind of “temporary effect” So no adjustments for mage armor, rage, exhaustion, poisoned, etc. Temporary effects are on the “long term” section of the roadmap. So I wouldn’t expect it this year.
It’s possible that you could create a magic item that replicates the effect and equip/unequip it as needed: I know folks have done it for mage armor and some other things; I don’t do much homebrew myself, so I can’t be certain it’s doable for exhaustion.

It is totally doable with Magic Items. At least all but the 4th level of exhaustion. If you need help, I can explain how to program them.
