What exactly does this button do? It brings up a pop up on the side saying "No Game Activity Yet. There are no rolls for your campaign. When you roll, it will show up here for everyone in your campaign.", so I thought it might show people's dice rolls from their character sheet (which would be awesome) but it doesn't. It also doesn't show the automatic initiative rolls if you click that option, and there are no other dice rolling anywhere.
It’s so you can see players rolls. Adam previewed it in the developers update on Thursday, although it hadn’t been released yet. Maybe it’s not quite fully turned on yet?
It looks like they reverted the update. I saw it on Saturday and now it's gone. The version number was v0.1.20 on Saturday and now it's back to v0.1.19.
Oh dear really?! Why would people want it turned off? I think it's great!
I just wish that character hitpoints auto-updated in the combat tracker and that I, as the DM, could quickly ad a modifier to a diceroll.. or assign 'to hit' to it. so it shows for the players.
Yeah, I agree. Think it's a great feature and helps out new players.. particularly when you're not in the room with them to guide them on the dice/correct if they roll the wrong thing etc.
Plus it's just a little, inoffensive, notification until you 'pop' out the screen tab. I'm into it but appreciate it's not for everyone.

It is cluttering up their screen with stuff they don't want or need to see. No one cares what anyone else is rolling.
A tiny button which shows or hides this feature is not exactly clutter.
As a DM who runs games online I think this will be an amazing tool (when it works) and yes we would like to see each other's dice rolls.
The results of rolls continue to pop up in the interface though. So it is more than just a tiny button. It is a distraction for anyone not interested in it and as currently deployed, seems to force a single style of play/rolling dice on everyone participating in a campaign.

Does it though? I mean it just shows when someone else rolls something, so unless there is a **** in your campaign spam rolling for no reason I really don't see the issue. Either way, there is nothing stopping you from using other methods of dice rolling just because there's a pop-up

We already use other methods for dice rolling. Which is why we don't need this and would like to turn it off.

What does it actually do?
Was about to start a thread asking the same thing. It's new right?
Hopefully, it's a group roller or something that shows me player's rolls. would be SO useful!

Yeah it's not there anymore, maybe they rolled it out incomplete by accident.
It is back for our group as of Monday night. Everyone is trying to figure out whether there is any way to turn it off.
We are also noticing hit points mysteriously disappearing from character sheets.

Or we don't use the dice roller at all.

If you use other methods of dice rolling then this log shouldn't show up, right? So problem solved?
It does show up because everyone has their character sheets up on their devices. And as DM I have all of their character sheets up on my computer.
