Do Battle Master maneuvers work RAW with the Unarmed Fighting style? I know that there are some that specify "melee weapon" or "ranged weapon" but most work off of simply a "weapon attack."
Unarmed strikes have always been a bit weird, but I know that they count RAW as "melee weapon attacks." So does this mean they qualify for some of the Battle Master maneuvers?
Right now, im leaning towards "yes" because a melee weapon attack is included as a type of weapon attack, but I could also see the argument that weapon attack refers to an attack made with a weapon.

You are correct, an Unarmed Strike is a melee weapon attack. Whenever WotC wishes to exclude Unarmed Strikes they instead use the phrase “an attack with a melee weapon” as you noted.

Thank you. That was more or less my line of thought but the rules as written can sometimes be such a fickle thing that I wanted to make sure I wasnt missing some obvious distinction.
