It would be nice if magic items that affected other stats would have that reflected int he character profile, and also that weights in the description would be added for magic items. For example, Handy Haversack is supposed to weight 5 pounds, but anything put into it would not add weight to the character. I’d like to be able to indicate which items are in the bag, so they don’t count towards my weight.
Another example regarding spells: Grimoire’s Infinitis adds to the number of Prepared Spells...but that is not reflected when choosing prepared spells from the spell book.
It would be helpful if this sort of cross-referencing was implemented for magical items.
Both things you mention are known. Inventory containers are planned and will probably be developed soonish (probably some time in 2020, they don't give timelines).
The grimoire infinitis is a new item and they mention in the pinned support thread for that item that the character sheets don't currently support it and they will fix it later.
There are also a number of workarounds for both these problems.
I did since discover that I can manually enter the relevant information in many cases as an override, but it would be a nice thing to have the Inventory Containers working automatically. I was not aware that was already in development, thanks! I also noticed a lot of implied weights are missing from magic items, though it is easy enough to enter them as overrides.
Right now I’m adding some magic weapons to the Homebrew collection that correspond to Artificer’s talents, once the imbued objects would be made permanent. I’m surprised they aren’t there already; seems like a logical set of things that an Artificer might carry.

I'm not sure to what you are referring. Artificer talents? Permanent?

I think they mean Infusions.
But those don't become permanent. And infusions are already part of character sheet and don't need to be homebrewed.
You have to figure though that a high level Artificer would eventually figure out how to use those skills to make some items permanent, related to the possible infusions.

I most certainly have to homebrew certain infusions (such as the Spell Refueling Ring)so other members of my Artificer’s party can use them.

Yeah, no magic items have weights even if stated (most are not given and have to be inferred).

That would seem reasonable to assume.
