I wanted to make a thread to thank D&D Beyond staff for the neat new features added. I did not see a thread on it, so forgive me if someone beat me to it.
Click the button.
Looks gorgeous!
Additionally, there is a new feature for the inventory enthusiasts.
I hope many of you will join me in thanking the staff for working hard on getting us these new features rolled out. We appreciate what you do!
This is really nifty! I took a look at my old character and need to remove a lot of "0 lb" weight overrides in her Bag of Holding, but it's looking good so far :D
One weirdness: a lot of her weapons and magic items, but not all, have "Equipped by Hero with no name" next to the item type below the name. Unclicking and clicking the equip checkbox removes that text, but now I'm just curious what function it's meant to serve, eventually if not now? Maybe party shared equipment?
(Meanwhile I'll have fun imagining her cosplaying as Clint Eastwood in a poncho)
However, while the bag of holding and Heward's Handy Haversackfunction correctly with regards to their contents and weight/encumbrance, the Quiver of Ehlonna does not. Currently, the latter still requires manually adjusting either the weight of the quiver or it’s contents to keep the weight carried straight on the sheet.

The weirdness is now fixed. Cosplay over :( ;)
Edit: I also look forward to when the container "carrying" checkboxes & capacity tracking are implemented for the mobile app. Meanwhile, the "view in browser" option works well enough for this purpose.

Nice work, thank you!
The Bag of Holding now works properly with this update too, it only adds the 15lb to the total weight and not its contents.

We can add the same item multiple times (to make sets of them), and we can override the cost and weight of non-custom items in DECIMAL VALUES!!
Helpful rewriter of Japanese->English translation and delver into software codebases (she/e/they)
Great to see these changes.

Looks like that has been fixed.
