I just logged in to D&D Beyond to see the sources tab has been changed. This change means the Core Rules are now piled in with the Sourcebooks section, and several sourcebooks (such as GGtR) aren't even available under the source tab anymore. Its ugly and it makes the source tab way harder to navigate, for me at least.
A possible way to fix this is to use the old source tab model, have the core and basic rules under their separate category (as they were), remove the Sage Advice Compendium from the sources tab, take the Legacy Content books off the sources tab, and remove some less important stuff from the tab like One Grung Above and Mordenkainen's Fiendish Folio. That way, the tab will be less cluttered but will be able to show more content, and you can add more content to it.
As it is now, the tab is in my opinion a bit ugly and doesn't serve its purpose of allowing the navigation of D&D Beyond very well.
The order is bizarre: basic rules > core 3 (in order of release?) > sage advice > supplementary 3 (in order of release?) > 2x campaign settings (in alphabectic order) > fizbans > 5x campaign settings (in alphabetic).
However if space is at a premium I'd prefer they prioritise sources I've purchased (and more likely want to access) rather than showing random "featured" sources that I don't own, have no interest in owning, and can't reference!
I'll concur. What an absolute CF that sources page is now. :-/

"...or you can find the secret tunnel that leads to the Vault of Dickish DM which is filled with 10,000,000 copper coins and a 5,000 pound solid gold statue of a middle finger that is too big to fit through the door."
Agreed on prioritising purchased content since it feels a bit of a kick in the teeth to have to go hunting for sources I have purchased. I can see they want to prioritise new things, but it feels like their offering has been made worse to focus on advertising new content to users. After already investing a lot of money into content (in many cases twice, to buy the physical and soft copy) it, it is irritating to see what amounts to advertising getting in the way of accessing this product.
I also understand the push to move things to "legacy content", but I have no desire to repurchase material I already mostly own and this just seems another step to make it harder and harder to use. The bigger part of this being that now search contains two entries for so many monsters etc making finding anything really unwieldy.
It seems strange to me that the Sources tab is inconsistent with the rest of the DDB menu navigation. Collections, Tools, Marketplace, Media -> All have nice big icons to take you to a page dedicated to its content. Sources -> Big bucket of text links Game Rules -> Hybrid... bucket of links on one side, nice big graphic icons on the other. (although I generally do like the way this one works given the nature of the content)
If they just put a few big Icons to separate Core Rules, Sourcebooks, and Adventures, I think that would work just fine and fit the rest of the navigation better. There's enough content available in that menu to warrant its own focused page like many of the other items lead to.
