when will it be possible to add encounters to a campaign from the monsters manual and also homebrewed stuff. I feel that the campaign is really limited and doesn’t give that much benefit at all righ now.
And what about the app. No new features have been rolled out to it so people can see their sheets or campaign info either yet.
They've said from the beginning that the campaign management feature was bare bones, and was released when it was mostly to allow for content sharing. Improvements are planned, but they are a ways down the road as other features are planned first.
I'm not sure precisely what you mean by "adding encounters," but with a little bit of patience and work, it is possible to set up encounters with links to monsters in the DM notes portion of the current campaign tools. I use spoilers to separate encounters and to keep the notes section a little more manageable. Here's an example of notes for a random encounter in our TOA Adventure, that includes links to both published monsters and homebrew:
The blue links are links to homebrew monsters, although the Allosauras skeleton and Triceratops skeleton links will not work for you, as those are private homebrew. But the Boneshard skeleton link should. They are just standard url links using the url link took in the editor.
The green links are links to sections in TOA, made using a feature from the Chrome extension Beyond Help (once made, they work in any browsers, with or without the extension)
The red links are links to monster entries, made using the monster tooltip for DDB.
Thanks for the links info but I am looking looking for something like having a button tot he campaign and just make an encounter and from there build up or copy a base monster from the manual into it and edit it. A lot like you can with fight club on iphone.

I knew it might not meet what you were looking for; I think the hope is eventually to do something like this, but I also think it will be a while.
