I think we the creators of our own homebrew stuff and things should be able to delete them if they are no longer relevant so it doesnt clog our homebrew page full of useless failed homebrew stuff and things. We created it we should be able to delete it as well when we will no longer be updating it and retired it...
The fundamental problem with that is that, once you've sent it out into the world, somebody else may be using it, so allowing you to update or delete it would mess them up.
(A possibly-better solution would be giving them their own local copies and the option to update to the new version, but that would require significant reworking of the homebrew code, but the principle of not publishing it until it's ready would still apply.)

Similar to the legacy support dndbeyond is giving us for the 2 books that are no longer for sale.

You can delete your homebrew. The delete option is next to the edit option.
You can remove a homebrew from My Homebrew Collection and it will still be in My Homebrew Creations. Good idea if you might need it later.
I am talking about our published stuff. I have now two items in the list labeled as Please Delete.
