Hey, I noticed that the dungeons of drakkenheim book is up for pre-order now, and this excites me a lot! But there’s one specific feature I’m looking forward to the most, and I didn’t see it mentioned. Can someone please confirm that the apothecary class will come with the rest of the content? The concept of the class really excites me and I know I personally would by the entire sourcebook purely for the apothecary class. If someone on the D&D Beyond team happens to see this, please reply.
Nevermind I just checked, you’re right. Ok so here’s my new request. If anyone from the dnd beyond team sees this, can you tell me whether there are plans to release Sebastian crowes guide to drakkenheim after dungeons of drakkenheim? Thank you!
Can anyone confirm that the book that contains the Apothecary class is the Dungeons of Drakkenheim book that is currently on the marketplace for pre-order? Is this the correct book? There's nothing listed about class options on the marketplace page. I have a player that wants to play this and I'm willing to buy the book but want to make sure I'm buying the correct book. Thanks.

The Apothecary class is from their 2nd book. The book releasing on dndbeyond is their 1st book.

Would the second book be "SC's Guide to Drakkenheim" (from their Kickstarter)? Kinda hoping for DDB character creator integration for my players who like DDB.
D&D Beyond is offering Dungeons of Drakkenheim, the level 1-13 adventure, for pre-order. The Ghostfire Gaming page for this product can be found here.
D&D Beyond is notoffering at this time Sebastian Crowe’s Guide to Drakkenheim, the Ghostfire Gameing page for which can be found here. This is the book that contains the Apothecary class.
Mid-January 2026, and still hoping DnDB will add the Apothecary class. I think it would do MUCH better than the Illrigger class they added.
If it's better-balanced, then maybe. Illrigger's stronger than it has any right to be.
What Balance? Fireball & Hypnotic Pattern were broken from even before 2024.
Comparing spells to subclasses is comparing apples to oranges.
Here's a question:Why does 3rd-party content NEED to be balanced against EVERY official class?
Because all of the core classes aren't "balanced" to each other.
What "Balance" exists in the first place? Why must this be a video game, & everything need to be "balanced"? DND isn't Street FIghter or DotA.
Balance doesn't have to be perfect. But it shouldn't stand out as being definitely more powerful than the other comparable options (such as Fighter or Paladin). If it's got things it's better at, that's fine, but being in a position where you're just going to be worse if you don't pick it is bad.
And the core classes are better-balanced to each other than some give them credit for. Except Ranger. WotC still sucks for that one.
And insisting on a level of balance doesn't make it a video game, or make that a valid comparison.

So you're demanding Partners submit to WotC balance designs, because..?
I'm not talking about Mario or Pac-Man. I'm talking the sort of video games where people complain about balance, yet go out of their way to squeeze every possible aspect out of such to "win" them in every conceivable way, therefore unbalancing them by using That One Trick(s) [IP OWNER] Doesn't Want You To Know.
Final Fantasy 14, Pokemon, Street Fighter from II onward, DotA, League of Legends & Marvel Rivals-type games.
Do you SERIOUSLY expect people adding "mods" to DND to balance their ideas to Ranger just so this imagined monolith of Ranger players don't feel mildly inconvenienced?

Quit being intentionally obtuse. You clearly know I'm not insisting everything should be as bad as Ranger. But they shouldn't be making "Paladin, but stronger and edgier" and reaching for partnership. If they want to go that route, they should keep it to their own home game instead of publishing.

Previous editions had antipaladins which were that "edgier & stronger"
But the 1-1 comparison between Paladin & Illrigger breaks down once you look at the mechanics.

I believe that class is from their 2nd book, not the first one.

Anyone seen any recent updates to include Sebastion Crowe's to DDB partner content?

I would love to see the Apothecary class finally make it's way to DDB as partnered content. It's great stuff!
