So I have created some homebrew items, and for some reason it doesn't become addable to my characters. Can anyone tell me why? Or what I need to do for it to be added to inventroy.
The most common reason for homebrew not showing up is due to you not enabling homebrew on your character sheet.
In the character builder on the homepage there is a homebrew content toggle. Turn that on.
If you're on the character sheet, you can click manage (next to your character's name) then click character settings, then you can enable the homebrew content toggle from there.
Hi, im having a similar issue with trying to add homebrew to my own characters. Homebrew is enabled and my entitlements are in sync. The homebrew items in question were made last night.
All homebrew items show up, except my homebrew barbarian subclass. It still shows in my copy of the character, but in the new version, I removed barbarian to get the new rules, but it only shows the four standard builds. I have made changes to it and saved it, and I have turned homebrew off and back on over the last three days. I made a new character with Another name, it also can’t see the subclass.

What if homebrew is on but they still cant use my subclass?

Subclasses belong to a specific class, and new and old classes are not the same class. You'll need to remake it as a new-barb subclass.
Really? OK great, that makes sense. Thanks
