Shot-in-the-dark, unresearched theory here... but is it because my surname has a hyphen in it? Because I know that was/is a problem when my ISP decided they would install a "new and improved payment system" as well... Is your system just confused by non-standard characters? It would explain some of the others' experiences as well.
The codes that the payment processor provides are all rejections from the bank. That is the problem. The bank is rejecting every single time, usually for an invalid address entered. We cannot control what your bank requires to validate your address.
Then why am I able to make purchases on every other site I try to? I use google auto fill, to fill out information. So it's the same text that gets typed in from my end

Most likely the other sites don't fully verify your address, allowing people with less knowledge of your information to commit fraud. We require a full address, including things like postal code that others do not.

That would be a "nice" reason for the problems many people are having if it wasn't for the fact that most people on this forum have tried many many different things including verifying the address is correct. There is something wrong with how the online form is parsed/used. For digital content, I suspect its something involved with the requirement for a delivery address even though there is no delivery.
In any case i have found a work around that worked for me. Use the phone app.
I suspect this problem isn't more widely spread because most people use the phone app as default.
Yes; after an unreasonably large amount of my sadly finite time on this Earth, I did talk to a human at my bank... And sadly; no, they did not in fact have any revelations as to why D&D Beyond's website implementation is not working properly.
Ah! So your trying to make purchase on website? Try using the phone app instead and let me know if that works. Worked for me!

Unfortunately: not a very practical option for me: I'm legally blind; phone/mobile apps are almost impossible for me to use.
I'd also echo what I said via my support ticket to WOTC/Hasbro peroper: "Workaround" and "Problem fixed" are not the same thing. Incessantly clearing the browser cache, turning off anti-virus, switching devices from desktop to mobile etc.: these are all "workarounds", not "solutions".

I have tried to write my address 100% like it is on my social security card. That didn't work.
I have had things shipped to me. So I have used postal codes. Secondly, I use Google auto fill. The address is correct. I have even tried to change the lower case "a", for my apartment I live in, to an uppercase. I have also tried adding in a "," which is on my social security card. Plus, I have made purchases on your site before, using the information I type in. Nothing has worked. But this site, might also change what I write There used to be an " ´ " above 1 of the letters on my social security card anymore. But it's not there anymore, but it's on this site. But it was never an issue when I didn't add it, for when I made purchases. But I don't need to book anymore, so i'm not going to see if that is the issue. Plus I don't think it was there, the first times I tried. I didn't get added until I deleted my address and added it in again, using Google auto fill. And I just made a purchase on a different site, where things are getting shipped.
This is also the same site, that has/does require credit card information for free items. That doesn't seem safe. And it took me up to 3 attempts to get some of the items. It was that month (i think december), where you gave away various things
I've contacted my bank moments ago, they say logs show that your side is making rejections.
Is there any news on when this will be fixed? Or if someone has had this problem and solved it, could they offer an alternative payment method like Bizum? Im spanish sorry for me bad english
I've managed to buy (way more expensive) books on D&D Beyond mobile phone app with Google Play while using card that was problematic on D&D Beyond, and I have also ordered some books on D&D Beyond EU without any kind of problems while using the same card and the same data that were problematic on D&D Beyond.

I haven't tried it from the app, but paying a little more for something that you have on the web cheaper, since it's their problem, is really annoying. Let's see if with this maintenance they fix it or something because, oh my goodness, and if dndbeyond's customer service doesn't help at all, 3 times I've sent this error and 3 times they've washed their hands and blamed the bank. I use Google translate
I just don't have enough nerves to wait if update would change anything, so I bought one digital book less than planned because much higher prices on mobile app would break my budget otherwise, and I definitely don't plan to buy that one in the future. Money that was supposed to go to D&D Beyond went to Google instead and that's it. I bet some people even give/gave up from buying at all.
Considering D&D Beyond customer service and the way the company is dealing with these problems that many buyers have, I can just say I have never experienced something so unprofessional.
Given that the errors from the payment processor have, in every case, shown the error is on the side of the bank, we can only recommend determining what the issue is through your bank.

It told me error processing payment, but it still took money out of my account twice, and still no access to tashas cauldron.

I don't know. D&D Beyond customer service is not helpful, it just seems to me they will not further investigate my case.

I managed to get it to accept Paypal after the last site maintenance cycle... strange: turns out it was the site and NOT my bank.
