After I created a homebrew magic item, I was unable to find a way to equip it. I was able to use the homebrew spells I created, so I am assuming I would be able to use the homebrew items as well. Bug? Feature just not added yet?
I'm having the same issue. I assumed when I went into "manage equipment", I'd be able to add privately created items to my character but they don't show up in the search results. I hope this is addressed soon as it makes it difficult to run an actual campaign using this otherwise awesome app, as I can't really take away the homebrewed items my players have.
How do you equip public Homebrew Items? I selected them and added them to my collection, and can see my collection, but I can't see my collection when making a character.

Make sure if it is a weapon/armor that you are proficient with it, otherwise uncheck the "Proficient" checkbox in the item filters. One other thing to check is to make sure the character has "Use Homebrew" turned on in your preferences in the character builder.
I can equip my own, but cannot even find my collection which includes other items & weapons in the Equipment page.
Use Homebrew Content is on by default, yes? I haven't changed it. But in the interest of testing, I did turn it off and back on. Also created a new character to test with. Same results. To sum up, I'm doing everything right (I think), but I can not see Public Homebrew items from My Collection in the Equipment tab.
Still can't see Public homebrew content, even if I have a Master Subscription, and have Homebrew enabled on the character and have added homebrew content to my account. Happy to help test if you need an outside account.
I also have created some items for my campaign that i am running. The player could not find them even with homebrew enabled. Do i need so thare them with the public first?
I could edit his character as the DM and add the item that way. But that seems to be a strange way to do so.

Feature not yet added. I believe this is something that was addressed in the release notes: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/news-announcements/3653-beta-release-notes-phase-2-3-character-builder

It looks like the public content cannot be added, but the content I create should be usable.

This seems to be resolved. Thanks devs!
How do you equip public Homebrew Items?

Once your character is created, I was able to go under Equipment > Add Item > Search for the item > Add.
Thanks for the reply. Both of those are true.
I tried both weapons and wonderous items.
Profecient and non-proficient.
None of my characters can access them.
Hmmm, weird. Can you give me a link to the item you added to your collection so I can test it out?
Also, make sure that the character has "Use Homebrew content" enabled.

I have an item I created and published (Goblin Render). My character cannot see it to add it to his inventory. Please advise.
