Hi guys, So we have a DM account that we've just started up, with it we bought the DM guide, the PHB and a Master tier subscription. My friend and I went to test the character creator and have found that the content isn't being shared over our campaign. We've tried a few solutions, disabling sharing and then re-enabling it, deleting characters created before the enabling and reseting links after all that. But still nothing, any chance we can get some help here? Cheers
Yeah I am having a problem with it as well. I like you am new to dnd beyond. A result of the lockdown. I have just spent quite a bit of money on content and a subscription and have stumbled at the fist step. This is very frustrating. I can see by trawling through the forums that this problem has existed for a few days now and there has been no response or even recognition from the devs.
My group is also experiencing similar problems. I am the content holder for our group as I bought the legendary bundle and have a DNDBeyond Master level annual account. My brother is the DM and created the campaign of which I am a player in and he has enabled all content sharing. Previously none of the other players had an issue accessing shared content. However, upon recently leveling up, one of our players wanted to pick a feat and found that only the free basic feats were visible (i.e. Grappling and some other UA items). She also does not have access to any of the race options from the various manuals we've purchased if she attempts to create a new character. What's strange is another player in our campaign is able to see everything just fine. Neither of them are subscribers, and after talking with each them over Discord and even screen sharing with the one having the problem, I could discern nothing of difference between the two of them.
Ultimately we got around this for the moment due the player deciding on a raw stat increase, but considering we are rolling up new characters for a new campaign in the next week, it would be nice to make sure all our players have access to all the shared content. If the devs would like to see the problem reproduced, I'm sure the player in question, along with myself could make ourselves available.
I've been able to recreate it a few times and have sent an url + reference photos to their email address, hopefully it results in us all getting the service we paid for.
In the meantime, we've been taking turns using the DM account to create our characters and then claiming them when we join the campaign.
Question for everyone. Are you creating characters within the shared campaign or in your My Characters page? I ask because you can only use the shared content on characters within the campaign.

Lightning Strike - A rebranded Fire Bolt for Wizards & Sorcerers.
Spirit Bomb - A holy fireball for Clerics, Paladins, & Divine Soul Sorcerers!
Sword Dancer - A Cleric subclass specifically for the Drow goddess Eilistraee.
I too am having issues with leveling and not seeing feats listed from content sharing. Previously had no problems. DM turned content sharing off and back on. Removed my character from the campaign and rejoined. Neither worked. Another player in the campaign can see all the feats no problem, and they do not have the content themselves, only through content sharing. Happy to help devs troubleshoot if needed.
Just confirming that Content Management is still not working correctly. I have just 2 Campaigns that exist and are active at this time. I created a new Test Campaign just now and – while I note that in Content Management only the books I've purchased are available for me to manage (used to be the whole site) – any changes made to what is blocked and what is shared immediately seem to revert to shared when I exit and re-enter the page or just refresh it.
Yup, we are aware that non-content holders have to create a character within the campaign page to access shared content within that campaign. The problem is for a subset of our players, they seem to just have the default "free" content regardless of whether they create/level/modify a character within a campaign or not. What's strange is that other players don't seem to have any issue at all and are of the same subscription level (free) as the problem players. If had to guess based on my own programming experience, I'm thinking the issue might be account specific rather than campaign specific. This is partly due to the fact that when the same players joined a second campaign, again with me as the content holder who is sharing content, the same arrangement of problems/no problems recreated for the same sets of players.
Unfortunately, it seems like my character still only has a handful of feats to choose from when leveling. The character is part of a campaign that has content sharing enabled from the DM.

Please ensure that someone inside of the campaign has one of the books that contains feats, or has purchased feats individually and that you are creating this character inside of the campaign where that content is being shared. If that doesn't help, ask the owner of the Master Tier subscription to toggle content sharing off, and then back on. Hope that helps!
Also after making some changes to homebrew item, saving it, readding it to a campain character it works good until webpage reload. Those changes revert back in the character sheet to the old version of the item, yet in the homebrew manager is the new revision. Also readding the item fixes it until the next page reload. Guess Beyond has some cache issues currently.

Having the DM toggle content sharing after the fix was done fixed it. Thank you!
I have this exact same issue. I'm the account holder, Hero Tier and my content isn't being shared with my players. From what I read online, I'm supposed to have a button on the top left of my campaign page to toggle sharing on. I do not have a button.

You need a Master Tier subscription in order to share content.

Same here, content sharing turned off for my account in the campain
Yeah that doesn't seem to be the issue. On the page where you can choose which content to block/unblock, if you select block it looks like this.
Then refresh the page. It just comes back as.

I'm facing a similar issue within my friend's campaign.
The shared campaign.
We log in via the campaign link and made our characters there.
But still, no dice 🤦♂️
Hi there!
Thank you so much for bringing this issue to our attention. Some kobolds broke into our storage room and it was complete chaos!
That said, this issue should be resolved now :)
Thank you!
Thanks for hopping on that so quickly!

Wow, thanks for sorting this soo quickly.
Our crew can't wait to jump in!
