I have bought the source book bundle. And was checking out some races and have seen that the hollow ones are missing. Is there a special reason for this or?
Well, personally, I have never heard of this ‘Hollow Ones’. This leads me to believe that they are not present because they may be Homebrew or unofficial races.
Edit: After some digging, I discovered they are a thing from Explorers Guide to Wildermount. However, they are still not a Homebrew race. Edit 2: They are listed underneath the Races section in the book. Hm.
The Hollow One is a supernatural gift rather than a standard race/class option for character creation. It consists of a series of traits that can be added directly to the character sheet, either through custom notes or a homebrew feat.

and I would hope that with the backend character sheet updates done, supernatural gifts like this will be more easily implemented without having to homebrew anything :D

This is not what the book states. The book states that it is a race that came forth true the magic in that land. People that died and vecame undeath in some way.
If i really need to homebrew this it's not really player friendly. 😁

A lot of optional rules, such as Spell Points, Sanity and Honour, Epic Boons and Supernatural Gifts (which Hollow One counts as) haven't been implemented yet in DDB and are on the roadmap. However, as has been mentioned, the homebrew tools enable you to implement these optional rules through various means should you have need of them.

Except the book literally *does* state that it is a supernatural gift and as a result, a template...
As a Hollow One, the void left behind by your departed soul is filled with the strange magic of Blightshore. Becoming a Hollow One is a supernatural gift (see “Supernatural Gifts” in chapter 7 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide) that bestows upon you the following traits.
Ageless. You don’t age, and effects that would cause you to age don’t work on you.
Cling to Life. When you make a death saving throw and roll 16 or higher, you regain 1 hit point.
Revenance. You retain your creature type, yet you register as undead to spells and other effects that detect the presence of the undead creature type.
Unsettling Presence. As an action, you can unsettle a creature you can see within 15 feet of you. The target has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes within the next minute. Constructs, undead, and creatures that can’t be frightened are immune to this feature. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Users likely have made it as a hombrew feat, but it's important to keep in mind that because it's licensed content, it would be against the homebrew rules to publish it. Hence why you likely can't find it in the public homebrew.

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.

I'm not at all adept at making homebrew feats but it seems like despite it supposedly taking 15 minutes or less nobody has made it as a homebrew feat.
Not trying to talk shit and I probably will have a crack at it but not sure if I'll be able to make it work properly.
Users likely have made it as a hombrew feat, but it's important to keep in mind that because it's licensed content, it would be against the homebrew rules to publish it. Hence why you likely can't find it in the public homebrew.
Think I've made it now, I'll have to add it to a character and see.
Ah that's fair enough, thank you for clarifying that.
If you need help getting it to work correctly jus PM me.
