I'm still having the same issue. I tried to add the Pixie Race. I tried to mimic the Race on a private create my own character and I have access to that but I would like to access it the normal way.

Post here the link to your homebrew, I can check for you is there is something wrong.
I, think I might have an idea of what's happening? I just tested it on two of my characters. If a character's privacy is set to "Public", only Homebrew items added to your collection from the public items seems to able to be added.
If you set your character to private, you should be able to add your personal homebrew. When I made that swap for my Ranger, it worked out.
I'm not sure if this is the correct Forum, or perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.
I've created a few different homebrew race for my players over time (since we were able to create homebrew races). A few of them were published a long while back and my players, as well as a few other fellow gamers have made use of them over time.
For some reason my players can't seem to be able to see them anymore, when they search through the Homebrew Races content. I thought this was odd & perhaps a subscription issue (since not all have active subscriptions), I double checked...& it seems that I cant see them either.
When I search by author, this is all I find. Even though I have a few races that have been approved & published for quite a while, and were easily visible before. like these: (I can still see them in the "My Homebrew Creations" section). I cant seem to figure out why they are not visible to anyone in the homebrew section (including myself), any longer. I'm hoping you can help as this seems to be an issue that affects only my created races. My friends seem to be able to see my created items and classes just fine.
that's a weird issue for sure. I've had a look and I can see 3 pages of approved homebrew submissions by you in the race category, so they're definitely still there as your screenshot shows, but I also encountered the same issue when searching using the homebrew browser.
Apologies for the inconvenience - I have referred this issue to the dev team.
Just checking up on my previous issue. When my friends look up the races by author, it now shows 2 (previously only showed 1), of my published races. It still does not show them the full list of my home-brewed races. Any luck finding out why its not showing my previously published content anymore?
I’m having a similar problem in the vein of not being able to add home brew things. I’ve created a spell, “Scribe”. I have two versions, a public and private one. I have home brew things enabled. Ive tried it on both a public and private character. Ive tried being different levels, since it is a level 3 spell. What gives?
Had this issue but unset use homebrew and re-enabled it then the spell appeared. I didn’t have a collection when creating the character and getting one later doesn’t seem to apply retroactively. Or at least not without some kind of refresh of the browser.
I am having a similar issue with some homebrew weapons that i made for a private game. The character, weapons, and all are private, but I cannot find any way to actually use them or add them to my character. I am currently a free tier, but I simply cant find any way to actually access my stuff, even with all of the items checked off, and the privacy setting set. Any ideas?
You said “even with all the items checked off” so I want to be clear: is the Homebrew toggle set on on? If it’s on, it will be red. This is sometimes a bit confusing to people.
Is your character proficient with the weapon in question? If not, make sure that “proficient” is unchecked in the add equipment area/filters. Similarly, make sure that “Magical” is checked.
If you still can add it, please post the url of your character and of the homebrew. The moderators (and only the mods) will be able to see it and check out what might be at issue.
Ah, yes. Also had this problem. You can't add private content to public characters. This needs to be explained somewhere more visibly!
I'm not sure what you mean by this, HappyCerberus. Could you elaborate?
Your private homebrew content will automatically be shared with any character in a campaign with you, accessible if they turn the homebrew toggle to "On". The state of a character as private or shared should not impact your ability to add that homebrew.
It definitely affects it. On a public character, private homebrew will simply not show up.
Hi HappyCerberus,
What do you mean by public character?
Can you link the affected character (the direct URL from the address bar, not share link), as well as a piece of homebrew you think should be appearing on it? It does not need to be published for me to be able to look.

Hello Stormknight,
I hope all is well. I've been away for a bit, but finally started playing with our group again a few months ago.
I noticed that the same problem is still there and my players still cannot find all of my home-brewed races, when searching the Homebrew races section. They all still show under "My Homebrew Creations", but not under the public Homebrew Races section.
I know its been a year since I first addressed this issue, and yo referred the issue to the Dev Team. Is this something that can be reassessed, or perhaps you could point me in the right direction to resolve this issue.
