I've run into an issue in a few games that I'm running. When some of my characters level up and add the new HP roll to their total HP, after they save and go back to their character sheet, the value hasn't changed for them, but when I look at their sheet it's updated to the new value. What's weirder is that when I go into their edit character page and try to update their HP after it didn't update in their view, the rolled HP field shows their previous levels HP (before the update), but if I go back to their sheet, I see the updated value still.
Thank you for your report! Can you please provide a link to one of the affected characters?
I would also recommend for the affected players to share what browser/device they are using where the issue occurs, and if they have any browser extensions installed on their device.
I'm seeing something similar - my rolled HP value keeps getting reset as soon as I click the character sheet. I update it, hit apply, but it goes back to some (much lower) value.
I am having the same issue. I roll HP, increase by that amount, save and click character sheet, and it goes back to what I originally had before leveling. Keeps the level though.
My players have reported this issue, where their HP doesn't update but I as the DM see it correctly. Everyone is using a browser (some are on are chrome books with Chrome, I'm on Win10 using Chrome, and another is on an iPad using Safari). It seems random who is affected, but now all three players have.

There is a server caching issue. Have your players log out and back in to trigger the server to clear its internal cache, and then wait 20 minutes for the character sheet to catch up and try it again.
My players not doing that, and waiting 20 minutes also had it work as well. Less work on the user, same end result. One user just told me it only took 5 minutes yesterday, not even 20. So literally doing nothing and moving on to continue the game (since I saw the HP it was fine) allowed it to fix itself, instead of requesting the user log out and back in.
Also, not really sure how a user logging out and in could affect server cache.
Well I mean, if logging out and logging in and waiting, or doing nothing and waiting both achieve the same thing... probably going to do nothing and wait :) Six on one hand, half a dozen on the other.

Sometimes the doing nothing doesn’t cut it and you might be stuck waiting for days. Logging out and back in is guaranteed.
This is still an issue for myself and my players. Doesn't matter what browser, both Firefox and Chrome are doing it. This is becoming very frustrating for us.

What exactly does it seem to be doing? Can you give any more details to shed light on this behavior? Can you please post a link to your affected character sheet so someone can look into it for you?
Noticed one of my players did the HP wrong for leveling to 2 (they were on fixed instead of manual since we are rolling). After they updated it, on my computer (DM) it was instantly updated. The other players all saw the older value. This took the normal 10-20 minutes to fix, and was fine as combat wasn't until later.
Yeah, that's the whole point of this thread. This hasn't always been an issue. And if that was the case, it would affect all players. It appears to be random, hence this thread.

Same
Log out, log back in, wait 20 minutes and then try it again. That will clear the server’s cache which is what is probably causing the problem.

Still seeing this bug, but only when using the App.
Using the tool via the website on a PC, it works fine.
I had the same issue. Running Firefox v79.0 (64-bit)
It would revert if I managed level, but the change would stay if I edited the character.

That is the trigger that they programmed into the server for a reset.

Yes, sometimes it can take as long as 20 minutes for the server to update its internal cache.

I am seeing this bug on chrome. I am having to restart my browser to get it to update. Very annoying
