When choosing the Dragon Bloodline for a sorcerer in the app character builder, choosing a dragon type will not change the damage type for the 11th level feature. It always remains Fire, regardless of the chosen dragon type.
Maybe I am missing something, but I get no 11th level feature on Sorcerer? There is nothing to suggest that there is a subclass feature or racial feature available at 11th level in my attempt to recreate a similar character (or on their sheet even though it's not 11th level), and I saw nothing on the class page either. Did you perhaps mean a different level, and could you specify to which feature you're referring?
The only thing I see which may be possibly confusing is the Hellish Resistance trait which grants resistance to fire damage, but that's racial and doesn't change with the Sorcerer subclass regardless.

Oh... sorry. I mean the Elemental Affinity feature at 6th level.
Oh... and you were right... advancing the character to 6th level fixes the feature title and correctly reads the damage type for the dragon type.
