I DM multiple online campaigns with 6-8 characters each. I keep all of their tabs open so i can quickly look at them at any point. They now all say the same thing and are completely indistinguishable from each other. Now if I have all 8 of one of my campaign's characters open and I need to look at one of their sheets I have to go through each and every one of the tabs to find the right sheet. This is such a horrible change.
Personally, I just have the campaign page open, and open a character's sheet when I need to see it. Having them all open at once just slows down my browser, but that might just be because I DM on a low-power thinkpad
I really hope this gets enough attention that they change it back. This is exactly what I do. I run a campaign over Discord (text based, so people can respond whenever they want, like one big ongoing session) and having all the sheets open during combat and seeing the names was so convenient.
I want to add I play a few campaigns where players play multiple characters and it's also bad for players in these circumstances. I am glad it's being looked into thanks for letting us know Dayvd.

I play in several pbp servers and regularly have 10 to 12 character sheet tabs open - yeah, please bring back character names on tab titles asap.
This is a result of changes to the character sheet service. The team is aware that this is not good UX, it's been raised with them.

Please impress on the team how awful this is. I have a party of seven in my normal campaign. This is a terrible change! Please fix!
This has been resolved - Character name has been returned to the tab.

THANK YOU!
BoringBard's long and tedious posts somehow manage to enrapture audiences. How? Because he used Charm Person, the #1 bard spell!
