I agree @MrVizious. While more features are nice, I would rather a well thought-out solution that focuses on 5th edition only than a cobbled-together, function-heavy, multi-system juggernaut. There are already a lot of wild obtuse ideas out there, that if implemented, could shake the core foundation as to make it short of unusable for the first-timer. At the same time, I would not want it simplified too much that at could not incorporate all the various tracking and character sharing that has been introduced. As far as what has been confirmed so far, I am very excited for Phase 2!

It would be possible for them to have a basic layout, and have features add-able to a given sheet by way of an advanced settings menu. Check X box to make Y feature visible on this sheet. Would help keep a certain amount of it organized.
I did a search, but didn't read all 26 pages so my apologies if this has been mentioned.
I'd like to see the ability to suppress or relocate features and such on the character sheet that are fully passive and represented in the stats (e.g. Ability score increase). They tend to clutter the information and ability choices presented when a player is actually playing the game.
I noticed an interesting synergy with the missing content from Volo's guide and some of the character builder rules. I was attempting to build a tabaxi rogue, however the tabaxi are not accessible at the moment because the "extra" content is not one here yet. I attempted to solve this by not selecting a race for my character and manually inputting the stated, this worked fine until i wanted to view my new character sheet and found that it was locked until i selected the race. Not to be defeated, I went back through and selected human and manualy entered a subtraction to my states to make up the difference. This method got the tool to generate a character sheet but now the info is incorrect and there is the background and a few other stats for humans.
It would be nice to have the option for player generated races, perhaps just an option in the race selection that was some form of opt out and would let the player enter the desired racial info. I know I could use an old fassion character sheet that i fill in, but I think that options in the character builder would be nice.

They're working on enabling race creation. It's probably going to be a while, though.

I tend to do homebrew races for my characters and am really looking forward to the HB race and Class features in the actual launch. That being said, It is suggestion time.
(With your GM's permission) try homebrewing gear for the character that grants you the stats, abilities, and features of a tabaxi for now. If the gear works well, I know a few rogue and monk players that would love to add some of it to their characters. (additional benefit to gear is you can lend it to your other party members where needed. )
Not sure if this has been brought up, but in 26 pages, I'm assuming someone thought of it:
Please add UA Content to the Character Builder. In particular, please add the Mystic Class :)

Unearthed Arcana is playtest rules, rather than published rules, so not something that will be added as a standard.
UA content may be added as some sort of official homebrew at launch though!
If that's the case, the Character Creator has an option to allow Homebrew content. How do we access that and what extent does it cover? Can we create new classes as well as items, spells, and campaigns?

Soo...to reiterate what many people have said. For me, I want to see an ability to track resources after a game session a la the journal feature of Hero Labs. This makes management of rewards after Adventurer's League games sooo much easier. I'm willing to switch over from Hero Labs for D&D, but it has to be a tool that I would use (and would be willing to buy the books for a 2nd or 3rd time). Just my $.02.
Has anyone brought up age handling yet? I'm itching to write up a bunch of gutter rats for a short adventure but I'd have to manually make it all the way currently.
Also compact view option for the character sheet, not less info, less white space so I can get as much as I can on single screen without any scrolling. UI flexibility is always awesome when done right.
Settings for the randomizer to remove certain content from availability, a way to set the method of ability score assignments for the randomizer (roll, stat array, or point buy).

Sections of the character sheet are being reworked to make better use of space. :)
As for age handling, can you expand on what you mean by that?

Most systems have penalties for very young or old characters. Mostly strength. Then there's breed bonuses to those same stats etc. And temporary or permanent ageing or getting younger events, like in High Rollers where one character got rezzed permanently younger with less strength. Currently the number in the age slot is just some random number you thought out that might or might not be suitable for the race you chose. You have to manually alter the stats for considerately younger or older characters. Finding the information about racial ages and age penalties etc. is a hassle sometimes. I was wondering if it's going to stay just a random numerical value you assigned or be improved to atleast have tip icon for your current chosen species age range. A random number generator with adult racial constraist with an option to make a child or a senior characters would be awesome, or even have the age be linked to the stats if you choose child or senior, useful for spell effects too. But it's a minor thing considering everything.

5e doesn't have rules for age handling at all, so it would be kind of impossible to have them here.

So this may have already been mentioned, but I didn't see it.
Being able to add links to beasts would be an awesome thing for a digital character sheet to have.
Whether it's a quick reference wild shape, summonings, or just to have the stats handy for your mount... That would really streamline some game play.
Really looking forward to seeing the launch of the CS tomorrow!
:-D
Customizing the background should be available from the beginning.

I am just really hoping i can export the data from the character sheet as a CSV file. That way I can pop it into a custom Sheets document I have.
