While the navigation FAB (Floating Action Button) on mobile makes it much easy to find specific sections of the character sheet, also being able to easily look over a character as a whole would be even better, especially as a Dungeon Master reviewing my player's characters, or as a player picking up an old character or reminding myself everything I have available. Currently, it takes dozens of taps plus scrolling in order to look over a character.
Rather than swiping, as discussed in the July Developer Update, I believe scrolling would be a more elegant solution. To me, scrolling down the whole character sheet on one continuous view sounds much more fluid and intuitive than swiping sideways from section to section and still having to scroll.
Perhaps, like the new "ALL" tab in the Actions section, have an "ALL" view accessible from the FAB menu that has the whole character sheet in one, scrollable view. This way, all three navigation options are available to users: the FAB, swiping, and a continuous view.
Currently, when heavy armors are equipped, a disadvantage symbol (for Stealth) is present next to the armor on the equipment list. Is it possible to have this disadvantage symbol display next to Stealth on the skills section of the sheet as well? (Also, this indication appears to be completely absent from the mobile view.)
Yo! First of all, the character sheets are amazing! The consolidation of the actions window too; awesome. Got a feature request for ya though. I made a thread about it but also wanted to shout it out here.
FEATURE REQUEST: Custom Conditions
For many players, like myself, concentration is of those things me and my DM have a hard time keeping track of. I was originally gunna suggest adding it as a "condition" but I feel like that contradicts the wording of the rules too much. SO! What about allowing under the conditions menu, a custom option like many other places on the app.
The advantage of custom conditions over simply using the "notes" tab, is the central placement of the Conditions window. It's so easy to view and reference!
We could use it for madness, exhaustion, con, and other stuff.

To simplify, call it "Status". That would cover all those and more.
Admittedly, all three of those names have specific meaning within the game but the longer the title, the less room for displaying effects.
Could we please get checkboxes for Blood maledicts under bonusactions and allaswell? As of now there are only checkboxes under features and traits.
It is on a short rest/long rest..
Blood Maledict
At 2nd level, you gain the knowledge to further channel, and sacrifice, a part of your vital essence to curse and manipulate your enemies. You gain one blood curse of your choice, detailed in the “blood curses” section. You learn one additional blood curse of your choice, and you can choose one of the blood curses you know and replace it with another blood curse, at 5th, 9th, 13th, 16th, and 20th level.
When you use your Blood Maledict, you choose which curse to invoke. While invoking a blood curse, but before it affects the target, you may choose to amplify the curse by suffering damage equal to a roll of your crimson rite damage die. An amplified curse gains an additional effect, noted in the curse’s description. Creatures that do not have blood in their bodies are immune to blood curses (DM’s discretion).
You can use this feature once. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest. Beginning at 6th level, you can use your Blood Maledict feature twice between rests, at 11th level you can use it three times between rests, and at 17th level, you can use it four times between rests.
I asked about this as a potential feature a few months ago, but this is pretty pertinent for my use so I thought I'd ask again now that there have been some major updates.
I'm the dungeon master and I created a character a while back. Is there an easy way to allow someone else to edit that character? A bit like a Google Doc, where you can share as "View Only" or "With Edits," it seems a bit like you can only share a link that's view only. I regularly play with people who are excited to play but averse to making new logins and clicking around on a computer. As a DM who is NOT averse, and who loves character creation but gets the inherent boredom and anxiety, this would be infinitely useful for teaching them not to be afraid!
Cover doesn’t fit with the others. A character can have cover from a one enemy and not another.
True in some cases. But then you'd still have the option to *not* toggle the cover +2 or cover +5 ON if too situational. Still useful, imo.
Yeah I just think people often forget what constitutes levels of cover and which gives you benefit to Dex saves. Maybe it could sit under Actions>Other but I think it should sit with Conditions whether you toggle it or not
Scrolling issue with side menus in character sheet when using Firefox mobile (62.0b13 specifically, but other versions as well).
Steps to reproduce: Open character sheet in firefox mobile, tap on anything that would open the side menu that is taller than the device screen (say, strength or dexterity), try to scroll the side menu.
Expected: the side menu scrolls and you can read the lower part of it
What actually happens: the side menu doesn't scroll at all. It seems that the main page (currently bellow the side menu) is scrolling instead.
Since you can't read any of the longer side menus, this makes the character sheet pretty much unusable on firefox mobile.
under equipment, right next to weight carried there should be boxes for coins/money etc.
so this a bad mock up but I think the idea is clear.
I would actually down vote that one. It adds too much clutter to the screen for something not frequently used. I'd rather it just say what I have, then in those situations where I need to spend money bring up the slide in window.
Generally, during the game I would either have a notepad or a Google Doc open for writing down (among other things) money transactions and then at the end, away from the table, tally it all up and make changes in one or two transactions.
I noticed the 'Silvered' property checkbox just showed up in melee weapons. Nice work.
It's great to see these little tiny improvements constantly being made.
Same with Hex Weapon tick-box! I just wish these were rolled out along with version notes describing changes. I love exploring that way rather than accidentally finding awesome new features!

The one thing I'd really like to see is some structure to the equipment. Right now it's all in one bucket with no rhyme or reason beyond alphabetical order, and it's really annoying to find stuff.
This is what I'd love:
BODY (armor) (shield) (clothing) (magic items)
WEAPONS (melee weapon 1) <-- sort by damage from most to least (melee weapon 2) (missile weapon 1) <-- sort by damage from most to least (missile weapon 2)
BACKPACK <-- containers sort in order of capacity, largest first (non-consumable item 1) <-- these are in alpha order (non-consumable item 2) (consumable 1) <-- kept together so you manage them better (consumable 2)
QUIVER <-- specialty items at the bottom (missile weapon 1 ammo) <-- i.e. arrows)
BOLT CASE
ETC.
I'd be more than OK with some strong defaults to make your lives easier with some things - like, whenever equipment is purchased, things automatically sort to proper containers. Like:
- arrows get put into quivers - darts/bullets get put into pouches - crossbow bolts get put into cases - everything else just gets put into your backpack
A player can move stuff around into other storage items like pouches or sacks afterwards, assuming they buy them. But only the most control freak players will do that.
I'm still not a huge fan of the redesign, but I appreciate the fixes that have been implemented. It's becoming somewhat useable. Moving to the single-pane actions/features/spells area on desktop has been a big improvement. I appreciate that the spells pane now defaults to displaying all spells. Sorting by Ritual and Concentration spells is also an appreciated feature.
Things I still wish for (and yes, many of them are repeats):
-Please add one more spell sorting option, a sort that excludes concentration spells (and maybe also one for excluding ritual-only spells)
-"Manage Spells" button is an improvement, but it should default open not to the list of prepared spells that the main window already shows, but to the Spellbook (or Cleric/Druid's full list of spells to prepare from. And I hope that it isn't the final solution on this, because:
-I still hate that sidebar with all of my being. I don't feel like enough thought was put into what information should be there, and what information needed to be on the main page. And I hate that it covers up the section I need most access to when it appears.
-For example, in the Features section, I'd like to see just headers and whatever use checkboxes are appropriate, rather than have to scroll forever to get past all the descriptions, which should either be collapsed/collapsible, or in the sidebar.
-Limited use magic items should appear in the limited use section. Please.
I haven't used the site extensively on mobile, but I will say that I don't know why Ability Scores and Skills can't be on the same page, other than some bizarre allergy to scrolling. They aren't buttons that are close to each other in the FAB, and I had trouble finding skills when I needed them.
Finally: a major bug in the character builder: a few weeks ago, I built a first level warlock, then attempted to level up one level at a time to simulate what it would be like to be leveling while playing the character, and not pick too many high-level spells. Single-leveling wouldn't allow me to choose any spells above first level. It wasn't until I jumped several levels at once that choosing higher-level spells became available to me. I haven't tested to see if the problem persists, or if it applies to other classes, but it was there.
Firstly, I love the new layout and aesthetic changes very much, however I have come across and issue when trying to alter textboxes. Basically I cannot scroll down in the pop-up text box when using the website in multi-window view. (I'm using windows 10 as the OS)
Mage Armor is not being applied to the AC. as I can tell, the sheet is calculating the base AC correctly, but since mage armor changes the base AC to 13.
Unfortunately it seems as if there is no way to reset the character's base AC outside of a class, feat or racial option. I've tried using a magical item in inventory that the player can equip like armour but the only way to implement that is to make it a +3 to AC. The same goes for the temporary changes you can make to a character's AC in the character sheet. You can't set a base AC, you have to set the total AC including modifiers. This is especially confusing given that they have two options for changing AC in the character sheet, one of which is Override Base Armor + DEX, which you would think would set the base AC and then add DEX, but it doesn't.
I'm thinking of making a Mage Armor feat that I can just add to characters that resets the character's base AC, but even that is problematic since it does it permanently rather than having any sort of off/on toggle.
For mage armror, i made a magic item that copied Studded leather +1, made it add light armor prof, and after adding to the character, overwrote the weight.
