The new dice query system is horrible, and it slows down our gameplay so much when using Roll20.
In fact, we are considering leaving DnD Beyond altogether because of how much this is complicating things. Please either revert things back to the way they were, or give us the option to turn it OFF.
The issue I have is every time I try to roll it queues it up on the left-hand side dice selector until I click "roll to self". I can't turn off Beyond20 atm because that is how I'm rolling into Roll20.

The manual dice system is the same as it has been since first released. You click the dice you want to roll together and then click to actually roll them. This is normal and most efficient. If it was single click it would be impossible to roll multiple dice or with advantage for example. The dice roll features for most if not all VTTs do the same thing, as do most dice rolling apps.
If there are things you want to do in single click and you do them often check rest of sheet or use custom actions.

There is no new dice query system on D&D Beyond. Dice are working exactly the same since the day they launched dice on here years ago. D&D Beyond is not connected to Roll20. I can only assume you are blaming D&D Beyond for something to do with a third party extension, like Beyond20, which D&D Beyond is not associated with nor affiliated with.
May I recommend in future that if you have a "dice roll" problem and use an extension that directly alters "dice rolling" that you check the extension first by disabling it and see if problem persists? This way you don't blame the wrong people.

Then you're raising this issue with the wrong people. You're using an extension that modifies ddb and it's not ddbs responsibility to provide support on that. You'll need to disable beyond20 and/contact the developer

I can confirm. Beyond 20 will likely need to do an update/patch in light of DDB coding being updated for feature rollout.
