When pulling up sections like the races and classes, and even the Actions in Combat sections, the sense I am getting from my players, and which I agree with, is that these areas would be better served with an initial simple list that can be used to select the desired target. 

Whether it be a links page or simply a drop down that jumps to the chosen area. 

Being a Wizard or Tiefling player, it would be much more efficient to be able to jump directly to the selection versus scrolling through the full list. 

An interface similar to what is in place for the backgrounds would, I feel, be more desirable.

Side bars aren't helping?

Sidebars are cool, but there is the issue that in some places you are only getting that section, we should have a way to also pull up a chapter overview and menu. Right now when you click on a chapter header you only pull up the first section of the chapter so chapter header is same link as the first thing under it in the compendium. On smaller interfaces you actually have to scroll through the blocks on the race for sure to find the one you want instead of having a quick menu of all you can see on the screen as an option. So the tiefling is ALL the way to the bottom of a scrolled list on a phone. I can't test it directly on a phone, but if I make my browser the size of one it does not make it quick to find the one you want. You can definitely see three at once with it expanded out further and even have 6 of the link button viewable at once on a full computer screen. 

So seeing how it is all linked, maybe a quick list at the top besides the bigger blocks for those you want to see the racial traits and subclasses as they are presently in the boxes. Not sure if that is how you want to present it, but small device users would love you for it if they want the full page and not the quickie info.

Rather like the straight one bar of the backgrounds being like the spell and monster list. This I think is what the other was thinking of having and you can push the + for the added info or skip it. This would make the list neater as well especially since there a lot more races to add with the paid stuff that would make that Teifling even further to scroll to.

The sidebar is a good start for me. I like the ability to jump through the tabs. I do see the advantage to a collapsible area, like "Backgrounds", but for ease to get most information at once, the character class pages hit the mark. I would suggest though to have the descriptive areas collapse or find a way to be toggled out of the way for the more used areas, such as traits.

So collapsible sections once you click "Fighter" or "Elf" for each section in the sidebar that way you can expand/collapse those sections as needed?

I want Goblins. All of them. Hobgoblins and Bugbears too. 

Tired of Dragonborn and Tieflings. 

I'm missing the actual Backgrounds in the Compendium chapter. I think they should be accessable both from the Character button and the Compendium, like e.g. the Classes are.

Personally I would be excited to see the Goliath and maybe even the Warforged from UA

Agreed. I also found myself scroling a lot trough my character files. Witch was great for gathering general info but was more difficult to acces fast during a quicker and more specific search during play.

And if I use the search bar i had to scroll all the way back to it before i can use it again. 

So i like the character lists a lot and a think they would benefit in the from a synoptic page like in the phb to get a quicker overview of the data.

So i agree with the other similar suggestions on this post.

But in general good work keep it up!
