Was trying to make a magic item today and I noticed while you can increase both the to hit modifier and damge together (Bonus-magic) you cannot give a bonus to just the to hit and just to the damage modifiers if the weapon.
There is an option to add extra damage but the following occurs:
I start with a 1D10 slashing damage weapon which i want to make 1D10+2 slashing damage before adding appropriate stat modifiers. What I would hope is this would appear as 1D10+2 on the character sheet but how it appears is 1D10 slashing damage on the quick view weapon profile with 2 slashing ddamageshown in the notes section of the attack bar. The curent damage sections seems to be great for damage given on a condition which is why am not in favour of saying if it matches the weapons base damage type add it on but it would be good to add to the bonus section a damage option.
For to hit there is a bonus to melee weapon attacks but that appears to be a more general buff that specific to that weapon.
Would it be possible to add a "To Hit" and "Base Weapon Damage" modifiers to the bonus section for homebrew items.

I'm relieved it wasn't me doing something wrong for half an hour trying to figure this out, but sad to know it's indeed the way it works right now. I only want a +1 to damage on two weapons I'm creating, but it doesn't sum up and only shows in the details.
Adding Damage, To Hit and other modifiers to the weapon should work just like when customizing it. Same with Notes, that also do not show up.
Editing to say this is specially critical on mobile, where the details aren't displayed in the Actions section.
It's really even worse than that. If you go to an item on a character sheet you can select to customize a weapon and override the damage manually to achieve the desired effect. They just failed to implement it in their homebrew functions.

Yes Please! We really need basic "to hit" and "base weapon damage" modifiers in the bonus section!!!!
Are there any updates to this? My DM just gave me a slightly too long Quarterstaff, that has a -2 "to hit" and a +2 to damage (also heavy, two-handed, with Reach, + regular quarterstaff stats). I found out how to set this in the "Customize" section of the item on my character sheet, but could not create an appropriate homebrew weapon in any way that made sense to me. Cheers!
I am hoping to use the dms guild armourers guide weapons mods in an upcoming campaign. I would like to premake the weapons for my pcs. But they have split attack and damage mods, which I can't work out how to implement.
I hope you guys are able to add this functionality. Thanks

Yeah, I have run into this problem.

+1 also hoping for the ability to a) add bonus damage of the same type, b) add damage of a different type, and & modify base damage dice.
