I haven't read through everything so if this is a duplicate I appologize but when I made a Paladin spell sheet it only gave me the option of choosing one oath.
For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.
Not sure if this has been really spoken on or not.
Please move the selection of all proficiencies into it's own page, right before the equipment step. How it works right now is an improvement, for sure, but it would be even better if you could pick proficiencies after picking everything else.
Or least a page where we can review proficiencies to check for any we'd like to change.
Also, what are the chances of being able to homebrew races/classes/feats at launch?
Not sure if this has been brought up, but is it possible to add custom skills -- or more to the point add a tool to the skill list? Many tools may not get rolled much, but Thieves Tools comes up a lot in my games.
I made a sorcerer with a Strength of 8. It’s saying his Unarmed Strike is +1 to hit, 0 damage. But a sorcerer is not proficient with unarmed strikes, so it should be -1 to hit. And I thought a successful weapon attack could not inflict less than 1 hit point damage.
Not sure if this was asked or brought up before but don't Rangers get spells? There isn't a way to add them to my sheet
Have you leveled your ranger (specifically your ranger class not your overall class) to level 2? Make sure you dont just hit the character level button on the page, but you actually go through and edit your character to the class level. I was having that issue.

Awesome thanks i thought I missed something just couldn't figure out what I didn't do.

No problem!
Quick instructions in case someone else needs it!
Click your character name Click "Edit Character" NOT "Manage Experience" (which only levels the overall level) Skip to part 2. Class. There will be an "Add Class" option if you have free levels. There will also be a drop down box next to your current class(es) to change the class level.
Built a Human Rogue Lvl 1, His Hit Points are only 2. Either I built wrong or it did not calculate the Hit Points correctly (Should be 8+Con Modifier, If I remember correctly) I'm willing to be wrong, but I am confused
Figured it out, I did Manual adj on HP, but I never actually adjusted it. Can this be made more clear during the creation process, like when the Ability scores are being assigned?

Yeah, it's currently kind of a pain, and like you, not everyone realises that's what they have to do. I think there's plans to address this, staff members can correct me if that isn't true.
So I have a question, though I'm not sure if it should be asked here or not. So as a Dragonborn you get a draconic ancestry. As a sorcerer you have the the sorcerous origin: draconic bloodline giving you a draconic ancestry as well. Will the mechanics of the character builder allow you to take both draconic ancestries or if you choose the dragonborn race you will not be able to take the draconic ancestry in the draconic bloodline should you choose to become a sorcerer with the sorcerous origin: dragon bloodline? I know at the moment the sorcerer class won't let you choose the draconic ancestry in the sorcerous origin: Draconic Bloodline even though it shows you the options. And I know that this isn't the first time I've brought up the issue with the Draconic Bloodline in this thread.
When choosing character languages, there are SO many options that I did not see in the PHB. Since when is Winter Wolf an available language? I am confused.
I know people have commented about waiting to choose proficiencies until all at once. I would like to add that it would be awesome if the ability score upgrade selection for racial bonuses be chosen on the same page as when you go the regular abilities.

Technically any language can be learned, it's all up to the DM. I probably would've done it differently by only allowing the core PHB standard & exotic languages but with a facility to edit it later should there be additional language allowances, but I guess it's understandable that they went the carte blanche approach:
I’m excited to see that things are improving around here all the time. Good work so far. It’s encouraging to see that our feedback is being listened to and acted upon. In that vein, here are a few things I hope will be improved before launch on August 15:
The digital character sheet is still a muddle of dropdown menus. Needed information is hard to find, often buried under information that’s unnecessary on a character sheet (ability score improvements that have already been applied, racial age, etc.) Class options that were not selected should not appear at all.
Backgrounds have fallen by the wayside. In both the builder and the character sheet, they are mere footnotes compared of the top-right prominence on WotC’s paper character sheet. In the builder, I’d like to see it on the second screen, right after race. And on the digital character sheet, it should probably also be listed in the stats banner, right next to or under class and race.
On that note, why can you choose whatever proficiencies you want for your background? Is that RAW? There should at least be a way for DMs to disable that limitless option.
As others have pointed out, the UI for the equipment and spell managers is counterintuitive. But you’re working on it, so I’m excited to see the next iteration.
This is small, but regarding languages: Druidic is only for druids. I’m not sure why Telepathy is an option at all. In my opinion, the default should be only those languages listed on page 123 of the Player’s Handbook.
I’m very excited to hear this will be available offline. Will we also be able to print out character sheets? I also heard we will be able to rearrange the sections of the digital character sheet. I very much hope this is still in the works.

By RAW, the DM decides what is and isn't allowed for languages. By default, only the standard and exotic languages are allowed but since also by RAW it says the DM can allow other languages, even druidic or thieves' cant, it's understandable that they did it this way.

Yes, DM can definitely decide who can get what languages. Played a campaign with a swashbuckling rogue who could speak Aquan.
I've been playing around a bit with the builder and pulled up the sheet to see how it would work in the game. I built a barbarian and in the limited use section, I saw the check boxes for rage. I checked it and the usage went down. What I'd like to see for class abilities, especially those that make modifications to combat (feats, etc), is when you press them, it makes the adjustments on your sheet for you. The barbarian's rage bonus to weapon damage, a note about their defensive capabilities and advantage on strength checks, etc. A toggle for when this is in use and a separate check box to show it has been used would work well. Or if you click "Use Rage" button it automatically lowers the usage by 1. Are "in play" options such as this going to be added?

Aquan is on the list on page 123 in PHB. It's a dialect of Primordial. Your rogue should've picked Primordial because then he or she could've known the other three dialects as well.

Equipping and attuning Armor of Invulnerability doesn't add anything to the charges section of the Character sheet but equiping Cape of the mountebank shows all the relevant charges.

Anyway, I'd still, as a DM, like the option to turn off customizing backgrounds.
