Agreed. The exported PDF option is pretty lame right now. Simply copy & pastes stuff into text boxes...cuts off stuff it doesn't fit. When time permits, I'd love to see this team take a crack at really shining up a nice exportable PDF. One that copies over my portrait, at least offers the basic rules content right there, etc.
You could always try using the homebrew tools. Take a copy of the scroll of whichever level you want, change the name and description and then attach the appropriate spell (SRD only at the moment). While not as simple as the functionality you probably want, it ends in the same results.
What I would like to see though, is the "Use" button actually reduce the number of scrolls of the relevant type in my inventory by 1. At the moment it is simple a toggle button with no effect.
Alternatively, if you have a stack of spell scrolls they could appear in the Limited Use section as a single item with charges equal to the number of scrolls, i.e. 5 scrolls of Cure Wounds would result in an entry for Scroll of Cure Wounds with 5 charges.
So could you please list them in the character creation sheet with a small asterisk or other type of symbol or hover text near them indicating that they are only available through the purchase of certain books? And then perhaps provide a link to the store so that people can purchase those books?
This is actually a really good idea. The builder could pretty eadily show all the options and choices throughout, with non-purchased options greyed out but linking back to the marketplace. Even for experienced players, that would be a subtle reminder of potential purchases, or options we didn't realize were available.
It seems that some of the races or subspecies are missing. I have been interested in playing a drow and haven't since the forgotten realms in 2nd edition. Why is the Drow not listed? Can this or will this be fixed? Thanks.

The Drow is not part of the free material. Check the Marketplace for the several options of purchasing.
Spells. I had two players make characters using the builder, and both missed adding spells. The tab in the "Class" section, next to "class features" is easy to miss. Spells should have their own section, or at least a clear prompt.

We used homebrew tools to rename our spell scrolls, but wanted to hyperlink the spell descriptions into the descriptions. Is this possible? If not, I suggest hyperlinking be possible in the character sheet inventories.

It is possible.
When editing a magic item, there's an option to Add a Spell. This will add a dropdown containing all of the spell's details to the item as seen in the character sheet.
You can also add Cross-Linking and Tooltips to the details of homebrew the same way you do in the forums.
- Using variant encumbrance and surpassing your carry weight (5 x Strength) reduces your movement speed by 5 and not 10 feet as in the description.
This is still an issue. Also, if the character surpasses the Heavily Encumbered (10 x Strength) or Carrying Capacity (15 x Strength) scores, the speed is still only reduced by 5.

In creating a rogue, sleight of hand does not show up in the proficiencies. Thieves' tools does not show up as a specialty.
Thieves tools is automatically added as a proficiency on rogues, so it won't be selectable anywhere. Did you receive the Sleight of Hand proficiency from another source?

I may be missing something, but I am really disappointed in the character building. I expected it to assist with spells and the spell sheet, and it doesn't.

Under Classes tab, open the spells tab for your class

Under proficiency I have four to select. Even though the description says I can choose sleight of hand, when I go to the selection box, it is not there. I do not see it is something that I can choose under proficiency. I do not have sleight of hand as an expertise (though it does show up). Thank you for pointing out that Thieves tools were automatically added. I missed that (though I selected it for expertise, it does not show up anywhere that I can find on the character sheet. I also have stealth, and it shows a plus 8 and exp next to it).

On the character sheet, does it show a green dot next to Sleight of Hand? If so, then you already have proficiency in it from somewhere else.

Need ability to add spell name to scrolls found.
Doesn't cut off anything for me once you save it. although it does cut it in browser before you save it.

Thanks a ton!
Any chance a print to statblock option is in the works?
I find the initially released character sheet MUCH harder to read than the statblock format.

I'm missing an option to turn a character into an box/villain statblock for DM use.
