When exporting to the printabel character sheet. The equipped weapon attacks and custom attacks don't show. Also, can we see a breakdown of what traits do in that box rather than state it? eg. my monk sheet has ki listed but no description of what it does. It would be a huge bonus to newer players. I have had several occasions, in games where we have had to stop and look up the rules. Also, it would be nice to see an area where you could track sorcerer or ki points.
I am hoping that they have a usable exported character sheet before March, or maybe it will be released as part of the one year anniversary of the launch of this site.

My group find it usable already. We don't allow the use of ipads and phones at the table, apart from gm so rely on the sheets themselves. Just needs a few minor tweaks would make the sheets perfect.
Things like "Hit Points" and "Fighting Style" are a long ways from useful. We don't use devices at the table either, but we also don't use this sheet as it is not useful without re-writing it. I have hope that it will become a good tool, but I and the people I play with don't see that as the case right now. Soon though, soon.
I would love to see a "Create Character from Template/Previously Saved" option. I like to do level by level versions of each character for optimization and would love to see this. Basically an ability to save revisions without losing the original or creating another character from scratch.

I have splits in my group. I actually want them to use DDB at the table on phones/tablets/notebooks. I want them to be able to look stuff up instead of relying on me to either look it up or remember it. I've been reverting a lot, lately, to, "Look it up yourself, you lazy sod of a player!" Well, OK, I'm more polite about it at the table, but that's the way I want to say it :D
But a couple of people have insisted on using the exported PDF's. I keep telling them that they're not very good (currently) and miss a lot of information but, I don't know, they don't like using DDB at the table for some reason.

my reason is playing the tabletop game with friends is the escape from the computer/phone. I'm on the computer for 8-10 hours 5 days a week for work, alot of other time is spent staring at a TV or computer playing a game or watching a show/movie/sporting event. playing D&D is still done and removes us from that technology for a bit.

I would guess that the current user interface has something to do with their reluctance. That and bringing tablets for character sheets to the table makes the whole experience feel more video game-ish than the more traditional tabletop experience that people are used to.

We get together to interact with one another face to face and escape the world around us and we find that it is easier if we are not staring at our phones.
We like the idea of having an automated system like DDB to level up and research stuff between games, but until the PDF is updated we just rely on the old fashioned pen and paper sheets. There is a lot of stuff that is coming up like printable spells and such that we look forward too.
I like using DDB on a big screen iPad at the gaming table. I take up a lot less space at the table because I can have a bunch of tabs open (character sheet, spells, character abilities, conditions appendix etc.) instead of having to have the PHB and other books on the table in front of me. I can also do searches, something I can't do with paper copies of the books.
I'm sorry if this came up already but there are 166 pages here and I'm not going to read them all.
I chose a half-elf variant for my character for the cantrip but it's not on my character sheet. Is that the same for the High Elf cantrip? I'm guessing this is a bug that should be fixed. Thank you.
Item the second: Is there a possibility to select class features from higher levels, so I can already my plan my road forward or, at least, the next level? Can there be? That'll be very helpful.

In the process of being fixed.
Planned.
Expect both with the deluxe revamp.

Any chance of revisiting the equipment section of the character editor?
I would like to see standard market pricing with item descriptions. Also, there should be an option to add (purchase) under the current setup with manual adjustments to currency as well as an option to purchase using standard pricing which automatically deducts the currency from the pc's wealth.

When creating a wizard, I'm only able to have them in the Evocation school of magic. I know that I should be able to access the other six schools, but no matter the level I can only have my character be an Evocation wizard. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if I wasn't transporting an old character from Pathfinder to 5e, and he is a Necromancer. I also noticed similar issues with a cleric I made, but luckily that was the path I wanted for him, anyway.

Only one archetype per class is free, the other needs a purchase from the Marketplace.
