la de da, makin' a character, lookin' up stuff that exists, hm I think today I will make a cleric, "Forge domain cleric" that seems cool.
Here's the article... but... I only have Life Domain cleric unlocked as an option... and it doesn't say what the heck book it comes from.
I get buying things, that's fine, you can buy every single thing you could ever need piecemeal if you want, that's FINE, but it's such a chore to find out what book content you want to use is from sometimes just to explore and examine, wouldn't it be way more convenient if you could see all the available options and if you don't own it, it just won't let you save/apply it and directs you to the page for the book it's from?
My idea is that *all* the options should show up, for example my list for Cleric would read:
Life Domain Forge Domain
C Domain [UNOWNED]
D Domain [UNOWNED]
(Sorted by ownership and then alphabetically so the stuff you do own shows up at the top)
And the unowned content could be selected but only previewed, so I can read it and see what it does, but wouldn't save or anything unless I bought the book (or individual class). Maybe an account level setting for "Show unowned content Y/N" could come with it.
If you click/tap the giant search bar at the top of every page on DDB, you can type in the name of the subclass. The 1st or 2nd result is usually the entry for that subclass. If you click on it it will automatically redirect you to the marketplace to make your purchase.
Let me put you in my position, just an example

I hope that helps.
