They are doing a decent job of advising people of what they do on the front page of the website. Plenty more we want them to do but those things they get done are definitely well advertised for the most part, because they need every bit of goodwill they can get.
I'd say that's arguable. When I open the front page, all I see there is advertisements in the form of links to the marketplace. To see actual written posts, I have to scroll down. As a result, I don't bother checking them out all that regularly anymore.
As a DM I would like to create a campaign and add one of my characters to the campaign instead of creating New unassigned characters or premade unassigned characters. My group can then use campaigns and encounters together. and my friends that cannot make it regularly can play my character in the campaign.

You can already do this, just navigate to the campaign invite link and join with a character you've made
A much, MUCH MUCH MUCH better initiative tracker. The tracker now is terrible, conditions can't be tracker, exhaustion can't be tracked, NOTHING can be tracked. This is absolute TRASH, when a $1.99 app blows your tracker out of the water.
If that won't work, let us import our content to another app.
And the simple ability to expend hit die outside of a short rest. thanks

I agree about the conditions on enemies, but you realize your character sheet can track both conditions on players, and exhaustion, right? Enemies don't get exhaustion, so really, the only thing it's missing is enemy conditions (which I agree it needs).
Definitely, but when I am in combat and using the encounters tracker, I do not want to flip back and forth to see what conditions are on who. It would be so much easier to dynamically adjust the conditions in real time.
Toggle off 2024 rules so that the site is usable for people who dont want to be gauged for money for no reason.
They added the ability to disable 2024 character options months ago.
There's still no way to remove the 2024 rules from the character sheet though, nor have they restored the 2014 rules that are missing from the sheet.
Which rules did they explicitly remove on the sheet itself? Or are you talking about legacy definitions no longer being being face-forward?
Also, have you tried ignoring/mentally blocking out irrelevant information to your campaign on your sheets & encouraging your players to do so? It takes less than a minute of clear conversation pre-session to instill this instinct, & it works wonders from my experience. I understand it's harder for some people, but it isn't impossible for most.
I'm not a betting man, but I think 2 types of character sheet aren't going to happen, despite Other Stuff Existing. The reason Other Stuff can do that is because they don't have pressure from investors in the owners of their site to sell, sell, sell 2024 in every possible way. I do WANT them to admit 2024 is a new edition & support multiple editions on site at cost, but I don't think it, & most good things, will happen on here, despite being possible, until something truly drastic happens & Hasbro finally realizes that they aren't going to match lockdown sales of WotC stuff, & the resulting stock price spike investors crave, domestically, ever again.

Off the top of my head:- Inititative, Unarmed Attack, Shove and Grapple. There may be others though. The discord mods have confirmed that the devs are aware, but it still hasn't been fixed, not even with the bare minimum effort of "legacy definitions" like they did with conditions.

I could do that myself, but why should I have to when the whole point of DnDBeyond is to give me the correct information and make things easier. As for my players, not all of them are as fluent (or interested) in the rules, so won't neccessarily know which is correct. Again, this is why we use DnDBeyond. I should be able to just tell them to toggle x/y/z/ and have the correct information shown to them. They had months, if not years to prepare for the new editions, they should have been able to come up with a better solution than "delete a load of stuff, and show multiple versions of others".

I don't believe that they'll ever fix the character sheet either, but people aren't going to shut up about it until they do. Nor should they, they've broken what should be basic functionality for absolutely no good reason. The missing rules I mentioned could easily be put into a legacy definition like they have with conditions, doesn't even need any programming, just a text change. The fact that they haven't bothered just shows the disrespect they have for their customers (as if that hadn't already been made obvious elsewhere). It's why I haven't paid for any WotC products for over a year now.
Also, why would they "admit" 2024 is a new edition. It's not been described or marketed as such, most of the rules are the same or extremely similar to 2014, and RAW it's mostly backwards compatible with 2014 content (DnDBeyonds implementation of those compatibilities is pretty lacking unfortunatly, but then we're nearly a year from release and there's still some 2024 rules not implemented). The only reason to change their mind and retcon it as a new edition would be as an excuse to drop support for 2014, and DnDBeyond is heading that way without needing an excuse.
