I wish I could see the familiars get experience and level up like the chars does..... plus getting some feats and extras.
This is not a rule in D&D, and D&D Beyond doesn't create new rules. However, Sidekick rules exist in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything that can be used to give monster stat blocks class-like progression
I would just really love folders for 'My Characters'.
Or at the very minimum, a way to archive characters that are no longer being played. I don't wanna delete the character sheets, but I also hate how cluttered my list of characters feels. Folders would be ideal because then I could just make an 'archive' folder myself, as well as other folders if need be (one shot characters, characters in ongoing campaigns, etc), but I would honestly take either.
I would like that when there is a reference to a page number in dndbeyond that it would be clickable to take me to that page in the book if I own it. As right now having the page number there is ultimately useless as a reference if I don't have the physical book on hand.
I second the idea of folders and subfolders for everything. Characters, homebrew, encounters, campaign info. Dndbeyond is woefully inadequate with organizational tools like worse than basic (prewindows).
I would like to see more customisation and freedom with the homebrew stuff, like the ability to add flat HP increase with an item that actually works instead of the janky do it by level.
Still speaking on the homebrew side let us use small scripts in the homebrew, so we can use an item that will increase out AC.
I would also like the sidekicks to be fleshed out properly, so you can level up the statblocks, or have it as a character creation option to create these sidekicks.
Also a bit of automation with our spells/abilities so when I cast mage armour it increases my AC, when I rage it adds my resistances
1 - The ability to register and use my physical books on the website. Hell, I'd even be willing to pay a small subscription fee for that.
2 - More character slots for character creation. I feel like 8 total slots is a good number.
3 - A more robust LFG system. Honestly I feel like DND Beyond's lfg forums are the least effective recruiting tool I've ever utilized as a player or DM.
The one thing that would make the biggest impact for me:
A comprehensive DM dashboard
I'd love to have a page where I can view the key stats for all players in a campaign at once. Live updates with HP, Hit Dice, Spell Slots, class features like Rage or Ki points, any other racial or special features, maybe even spell scrolls or potions. If I can have a single view like this, it helps me be a better DM because I know when I can push my players to the limit, or when they may be too depleted to survive what I have planned. This, in my mind, would be far more beneficial to running combat than a combat tracker that just helps me set initiative, roll dice, and add.
I want for the Extras section to be completed.

What is that you feel is missing from the Extras section?

for the app mainly. I use Beyond app and the Extras section is just blank right now. I'd like to see my Mounts stats with my device.
Extras are needed on the app for sure. Hard to run a druid without access to the wildshape stats
Ah, this is something that is totally on the roadmap for the app; features are still steadily rolling out

Is there a way to turn off the dice rolling animation and just get the number without all the fan fare?

another wish is a night mode or at least a backdrop for characters that doesn't cause my eyes to bleed once it gets dark
does the underdark mode option that the character sheet has help?

At this moment I would say the german translations would be by far the thing i would like to have rather now then later ;)
1. Custom Classes, Custom Mundane Items
2. Customizable Spellcasting system and Spellpoints
3. Easier to change different features directly on the character sheet.
More homebrew options:
proficiency- especially for different musical instruments
And mundane items
I would like to see a character sheet build order option.
1. Have the user create a character up to level 20
2. Select starting level for the character.
3. Add a level up button to the character sheet that will by default, take the selections you have made for the next level in character creation.
Still have the option to edit the character build, as needed as equipment and other factors could change what your next level might look like.
I would still like to see different point buy options. 27 points is standard, but 25, 30 & 32 could be useful.

Integration with VTTs (Foundry, in particular) rather than leave the VTTs to have to do it for themselves.
