We should have positive conditions (blessed, invisible, hasted, etc.) available as well as the negative conditions, and the effects automatically applied as they are toggled.
That would be SO CONVENIENT
There are no “positive conditions,” or “negative conditions.” There is only one total list of recognized “conditions” in D&D, and invisible is already in that list:
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant on the DnD Beyond character sheet. There is a toggle list for negative conditions, such as blinded, exhaustion, grappled, and things like that, but no toggle list for blessed, invisible, hasted, and other buffed conditions.
Anything not found on that ☝️ list is not considered a “condition” in 5e. “Blessed,” “hasted,” etc are not “conditions.” There are no “buffed conditions,” there are no “negative conditions,” there are no “positive conditions.” There are just that list of conditions above. Period. That’s it. And if you will note, “invisible” is one of the conditions.
They are not using the word “condition” in the colloquial sense, but in the RAW sense. “Conditions” are a specific game mechanic in 5e.

Well, you are absolutely correct - I did not see invisible (perhaps it was invisible?). However, if would be helpful to have some device that allows a player to toggle on the adjustments caused by "bless," "haste," and other spell effects like that.

Absolutely. It would be helpful. And I know they are working on implementing temporary effects like that. But who knows how long that’s gonna take?
I have purchased the sourcebook bundle, but I'm now wondering if I a) have wasted my money, and b) am still wasting money on my master level subscription.
Let me be clear here. I believe in the DDB community, but all I want is to be able to make homebrew classes. I keep getting new dice to roll with, but it means absolutely nothing to me. At this point, I'm feeling like an addict that just can't quit. I mean, I've put several hundred dollars into DDB so far, and I just keep hoping that the next announcement will be that the homebrew class creator is in beta. Eventually it just won't be worth it to keep my subscription anymore, but I'm still hoping that homebrew classes win out.
The basic players handbook has a section for feats, but building a character in DND Beyond, there does not seem to be a full feats section. Or, I'm just not seeing it beyond grapple. Adding to my ability score is nice, but sometimes you want to add that alertness or crossbow expert or sharp shooter, etc. I made a rogue to level 12 and could not add any feats other than grapple. I would like to see the entire PHB feats section added to DND Beyond.

Only the one feat is in the free basic rules. Those are NOT the full PHB. In order to access the full PHB content, including feats, you need to purchase it hereon Beyond. You also have the option to purchase any feats you need piecemeal, or add them as homebrew yourself. Hope that helps you understand your options.
How about a VTT so we can play all of our games via DND Beyond and not have to use a third party VTT at all? It seems so simple, and yet I can't understand why DND Beyond isn't a "one stop shop" instead of having to use another site to actually play the game.

I agree, a VTT would be a great addition, and they are indeed working (slowly) in that direction. However, I would point out two things, in response to your questions:
1) it is not "so simple" to build a VTT, especially one that integrates well with DDB
2) DDB started out with the vision of being a digital resource for in-person, around a physical table games. In that vision and scenario, a VTT wasn't necessary. It wasn't long, however, before DDB users started clamoring for a VTT, so creating a "digital game space" (the term they like better than VTT for what they now envision) was added to their "eventually" list. Then COVID happened, increasing the importance of moving in that direction. The digital dice, encounter builder, and combat tracker are all part of what will eventually become their digital game space/VTT.
An ability to add source books bought from different sources. For example, I recently got The Adventurer's Domestic Handbook on DM's Guild, but in order to allow my players to use the subclasses and such from the book I have to manually create the subclass or spell or magic item and add all of the features in.
To expand upon this, perhaps partnering with a VTT like Roll20 or some other one where we can use the adventures and everything we purchase here so that people don't have to make multiple purchases of the same thing to just to use a separate platform.
I can't imagine either of these being easy or potentially doable, but it was just a thought I had.
EDIT: I see the post above mine directly talks about VTT so of course it was just a matter of me not reading every post first. Lol.
Personally, I would love to have an option for any past Unearthed Arcana to be available. That way new and old players would have a way to have additional options for free instead of having to hassle with making everything in the home brew feature.
Another request is a more user friendly home brew creator. The thing is rarely helpful for anything past inserting lore or a paragraph about what the ability or item does. It is difficult to try to make something that tracks uses or gives options during leveling.
Probably my inexperience: A easier to use search tool to see if what I'm asking for has been asked before
the forum search tool here is essentially useless, unfortunately. I do best with a google search for terms that includes dndbeyond.com. So, yeah, better forum search would be wonderful.
I wish I could see the familiars get experience and level up like the chars does..... plus getting some feats and extras.
This won't happen. Its not a feature of the game (and Dndbeyond is still missing actual features). At best, you can turn your familiar into a sidekick using the Sidekick rules. It's not the best but using the monster creator you can fill out what you need.... but at that point its not a familiar or even the point of one. At best, its an 'animal companion' or just a minor PC at that point.

1. I'd like to be able to make homebrew items instead of just magic items (I Know you can make custom items on a character sheet)
2. I'd also like to be able to download the books digitally free of charge if we have the physical book via a code or something.
Thank you for your time!

AH!! Ok! That is my misunderstanding. I thought the PHB WAS part of the basic DND Beyond set up. Thank you!

Ability to mark off spell slots and ability uses for npcs and monsters especially in the combat tracker

no animation dice rolling
An option for no animated dice rolling. . . I like the animation. It's pretty neat.
"Hero of the Heavens" (Title by Drummer)
I just wanted it to be optional
